Wait, your not planning to sell it right? Just asking cause DLC's cost money... Or I am just getting mixed up
I'll still buy it if it costs anything
Even if we wanted to, we legally cannot sell anything related to minecraft. Addons and Downloadable Content do not always have to cost money to be labeled as Addons & DLC. They can be anything that adds new content into the game that was not previously available in the initial installation.
As you all know for the past several weeks certain things have been changing on the forums & you may have come across some odd things. Well this is because the iKingsSGC Forums have been undergoing massive changes from the software side of things to the graphics side of things. Today I am officially releasing the iKingsSGC Forums 2014 theme for all to see!
So, for the longest time the iKingsSGC Forums have been grossly outdated. We were 10 versions behind the most recent forum software. The reasons for this decision were many and some of them still exist. The primary reason that I wanted to update was spam. The amount of posts by spam bots just got to be too many for me to tolerate and moderate on my own, the updated software is much better at handling and preventing spam registrations and messages. As for why it has taken so long to update to a newer version is because my license has expired and new license to access all updates to the forum software will cost me $140 to purchase and I do not have that at the moment. We are not on the most recent version but rather the most recent I had downloaded prior to expiration. I no longer have access to that account making it so I need to purchase a new full license. I just had not installed it until now due to lack of compatibility in our addons that provide many of the functions you use on the forums.
As for the graphics side of things the reasons for the change are much more succinct. The old style that ours was based on had many broken and outdated templates and was barely functional on the updated forum software. With the knowledge that I would need to update the style in mind I had grown less than enthused by the prospect of redesigning, modifying and changing everything again on the updated base theme. So once again, my license to the theme was expired meaning I would have to pay to update and since I knew I had to re-design things anyways I decided to look around for alternative base styles that would suite the iKingsSGC Forums needs. After a long search I found a brilliant base theme and I have been hard at work for the past week getting everything to a state that I am comfortable with releasing. Obviously there are still things that need to be fixed with the theme.
Enough of the reasons behind the updates and lets just get into some of the things you as a user will likely experience.

BIG OL WHOPPING NEW FORUM LOOK!
THE THEME
So yes! The new theme, lets discuss it shall we? Gone with the old grainy look of the previous style and in with the clean, easy on the eyes look of the new one! I don't really know what to say beyond the fact that I really enjoy looking at everything. I guess I should go into some technical details.
Responsive Design - Use the iKingsSGC Forums on any size display and experience a beautiful experience that is just as functional and easy to use as if it were full screen!
Sticky Navigation & User Bar - quickly access the navigation links and account information or messages & alerts without the need to annoyingly scroll up!
Visually the theme is cleaner all around. From the navigation tabs to the buttons on the threads the new theme is easy on the eyes and even easier to use!
I wish I could say more but this is really something yo ujust have to experience yourself!
Below I have included a before and after GIF of various pages so you can see just how much of a stark difference there is between the two!
Eh, nothing is hidden in a submenu. Everything is still just as accessible on the new design as it was on the old seriously broken design. There really wasn't a choice in the matter to change the forums. I think you may be looking on a small display which causes the responsive design to kick in and move things around in order to make sure you get a smooth experience on mobile/smaller sized displays.
We aren't taking a simpler look here, I myself hate when things are stripped down to their bare minimum. If anything the new theme has many more details that make it even more fucntional than the previous design.
Iking, not to complain, the original topic urls are broken. May you please take care of that?
Wow minecraft forum's strike again. I currently have plans to re-write the entire thread sometime soon so I'm not going to bother fixing the links on this threads OP. Would be a waste of alot of time. If you want to see a working version of the OP head to http://www.doctorwho.ikingssgc.com
The Light in the Dark - Sonic Screwdriver Torch Update!- #DWCM #iMine4Who
Thread Last Updated: 8/30/14
Today The Doctor and Clara trek into darkness but we bring the light to the dark in this Sonic Screwdriver update!
People of the Tau'ri, welcome back to the time of frequent iKings Daily Reports which will hopefully be bi-daily depending on how many I can record. Today I am showing off a new update to the Sonic Screwdriver that allows you to ignite and squelch the flames of a torch.
The concept is simple enough and as such the application is just as simple. Simply activate the Sonic GuI by right clicking with any sonic device in hand. Just don't activate the High Power Frequency mode, you may singe your eyebrows or burn your banana farm down. (More info about High Power Frequency mode to come in the next few videos!)
Click the link in the description to head on over to the forum thread and discuss this feature and let us know what features you would like to see added to the Sonic Screwdriver!
That's all for this video, don't forget to head on over to the brand new iKingsSGC Forums and check out the new look and while you are there join the community and get even more news about DWCM. Don't forget to like this video, comment and subscribe if you already aren't! Jaffa Kree! Roll the outro!

Up the Shards - Sonic Screwdriver Glass Update - #DWCM #iMine4Who
Thread Last Updated: 9/1/14
Today, another Sonic Screwdriver update! This time things could get a bit....messy!
People of the Tau'ri,What's clear hard and breaks if you hit the right sonic frequency? If you guessed glass you would of course be correct.
Today I am showing off a new feature to the Sonic Screwdriver that allows you to yes, shatter glass. As with the torch update this is of course another simple concept but with a little more forethought put in to be sure this wouldn't be abused on multiplayer servers. So yes, as with all other things activated through the Sonic GUI you just point and right click to activate the sonic and the glass will break.
Back to my point about protecting servers. While on Single Player you can use the sonic to destroy glass but if you are in multiplayer you will be unable to Sonic glass unless you are either an op or in creative mode.
There is another additional function we introduced with this update that allows you to any glass blocks within the Sonic Screwdrivers target range. This is done with the High Power Frequency mode which I will discuss in the next video!

are people going to be able to change the TARDIS console room interior to one of the previous doctors TARDIS console room like the coral or victorian parlor one or something?
Or desktop themes maybe
In this Sonic Screwdriver update video I blow up mountains made of glass and light a torch that accidentally set the forest on fire!
People of the Tau'ri, have you ever wanted to be able to use the sonic to destroy large amounts of glass all at once or light a torch or even a fire? Well get ready because this latest update to the Sonic Screwdriver and Sonic GUI makes your dreams come true.
We all know that modern Sonic Screwdrivers typically have three standard frequency strengths. We have the low frequency which is used for things like medical scans and low level functions. We then have the standard frequency which has been used from hacking into computers to opening doors and lighting a flame ...or used as a flashlight. But then we have the High Frequency mode which totally melts down computers, door locks and other things that generally end with sparks flying when being soniced.
We knew when we set out to improve the sonic screwdriver that we would be needing these extra frequency modes. It was always something we planned on doing but it was only until recently that Emir and I were working on some of the new sonic features that we came up with a simple way to execute frequencies.
Today I am explaining how the High Frequency mode is activated on the sonic screwdrivers. Basically you activate the Sonic Screwdriver and Sonic GUI like you normally would by right clicking when you are targeting whatever you want to sonic. At any time that the Sonic GUI is active all you have to do is left click and High Frequency Mode will kick in.
Another thing you may notice in this video is that when High Frequency mode is engaged the Mark VI and VII sonics will extend much like they would in the show. Currently all sonics can engage High frequencies but in the future only more modern sonics will have this capability.
As of right when I am writing this thread only the High Frequency glass shatter is implemented but I hope that by the time I get to recording the video we will have several other high frequency activations implemented but no guarantees as we are hard at work on other features as well.
As with the standard frequency glass shatter there are protections put in place to prevent griefing on a multiplayer environment!

I was promised it this summer. They're VERY, VERY close. The development has been going on for 3 years. But it's close.
All around me are familiar faces...
