No I'm more into the field of modelling and texturing. What I need is either Bennix to figure out how to fix this code and actually respond to my message or someone good at programming to take a look at it and tell me what might be wrong.
I think it would be cool if the chao eggs would crack into top half and bottom half like in the games. Then you can pick up the top half and make your chao put it on their head.
Haven't been able to talk for awhile cause i got my time limited to one hour (Bleh) and i really didn't want to spend it on coding. So pretty much no progress this week however this upcoming week i HOPE (NOTE THE WORD HOPE) to get it out soon

And I HOPE you'll be able to compare the code between the model and the turbomodelthingy mod and fix the model code up. Otherwise, if you think you can figure out how to program the mod to use turbomodelthingy's obj loader, I can send you an obj file of the model
I've actually been looking at the code and when i try to implement the model, Everything gets all glitchy. and it looks like there is a giant chao. I'm trying to find a fix to it.

I Would really love to raise my chaos, cuz im still playing sonic adventure 2 battle . So I would be really pleased to see this mod.
And most Importantly I congratulate you. You actually got some guts for just thinking in an Idea, and not saying " Maybe ill just suggest it to a more experienced modder" . No, you actually went into the idea and do it all by yourself, learning in the process. And let me tell you my brave friend. Thats the way of champions.

The chao model looks bad in my opinion its too complicated. The head of a chao is bigger then the body. The body of a chao is a bit fat if you want I can whip up a quick simple design but it seems after the work you put in the model you have now i'm pretty sure you wouldn't change it. but trust me I still play in the chao garden raising chao.

I'm going to guess you were talking about my model since you didn't actually directly quote either me or Bennix's post. I tried to go off the in-game model more than the official artwork and in my opinion it's pretty proportionate. It didn't really take me THAT much time and I'm fine with changing it up a bit since I'ts all practice for me so I'll be more experienced when I start making my own game.(once I find someone who can program in C#)

I can't really decide whether i want to use this model or not anyways. I feel that it kinda ruins the minecrafty part of minecraft. Plus i don't really want to have to rely on Turbo model thingy cause that would be another requirement for this mod, And i'm already going to be relying on modloader, audiomod, modloadermp, forge, and GUIAPI.

i fell the same regarding the general theme of minecraft and the model not matching well. but i didnt even think of the dependency using the model would cause, and that is kind of a lot. however i really think the old model could use a rework. noteworthy areas to improve would be, smaller limbs, a larger head, and i can stress this enough a new texture. i wish i could help but i dont have the skills needed.
