Alrighty, so I haven't yet gotten to Tier 2 yet but I figured I would post here and say how absolutely wonderful this mod is. It adds a great deal more to the game, yet if you want to you can simply play the game as you would normally and ignore the added stuff (for example, I built my own place and filled it with stuff before really focusing on slaying monsters and progressing through the guild).
For 1.8, everything is incredibly balanced, both in terms of pricing and gameplay. Enlisting hunters makes things a bit easier when running around slaying monsters at the dead of night, and overall I find this mod to just be fun. It is absolutely fantastic.
However, no mod is perfect, so I'm just going to say some things.
For one, it does take a while to get to Tier 1 if you aren't focusing solely on killing monsters. While this isn't too big of a deal for me - I spent time building my own house and all, and in the process killed monsters and slowly progressed - it will become increasingly annoying when Minecraft is released since monsters will be more difficult to kill.
I didn't find the reficules all that difficult to defeat, but that was only because I would get them to chase me, charge into a lake, and kill them from below. My main problem is that whenever I got near them my game lagged...considerably. Normally my computer doesn't have many lag issues with Minecraft, not even with the Aether, but for some reason the reficules made my game become ridiculously slower, and that may play into why people are crying about them. I'm not sure if there is really anything you can even do about that; I just figured I'd let you know.
Overall, I think this is a wonderful mod. I can't wait to get to Tier 2, and can't wait for Tier 3 to be released. :smile.gif:

I just thought that we could have automatic prices based on the prices of materials used on the recipe to make the item!
then may be double the price to pay for the production effort?
if there is more than one recipe, choose the average value, or the recipe that has prices to all components.
only use this algorithm if there is no price already setup.
btw,
with dr.zark mo'creatures mod,
at 1st I was thinking some sell prices (like strings and gold apple) were too much but now I see they seem ok considering we should use coins to get an army :smile.gif:
also,
I wonder if we could disable non humanoid (all except NPCs) mobs from dropping coins? may be they could drop more loot instead, that could be automatic, if cow drops like 30 coins, make it drop leather to compensate no coins, would be nice!
and if we could have a second coin object valuing 10 normal coins? that so many coins dropped (after I kill about 3 mobs) if I dont promptly collect, lags my game a lot (my normal fps is 10, it drops to 5 :sad.gif:
and, if our inventory is full, we cant get coins, any workaround?
and, I can actually get the real coins if I let them fall (thru a mob trap) over a chest that is able to store items thrown over it; when get these coins, they dont become usable coins and remain as item coins; if I drop one by one I can get them, but if I drop a coins stack, I only receive one coin when getting them back..
despite obvious, I had a bit trouble finding the prices file (Merchant.txt), I had to order by date to find it :tongue.gif:
these are for risugamy elemental arrows mod
I based prices on utility/power of the item.
Fire arrows are great as temporary torches for caves!!
The ice arrow should be weakened to freeze just for some time... so it is very powefull actually...
Homing bow is almost a cheat.. each shot arrow should consume one redstone to make it fair, I dont use it but some ppl may like...
unfortunately the mod doesnt read back the file, overwriting it :sad.gif:
I wonder if we could have some options to tweak? about tweaking, I like the way we can for ex. make recipes with zombe mod :smile.gif: I have made loads of balanced recipes and erased many vanilla also :biggrin.gif:
There's no mine, you have to dig a hole by yourself (with your workers behind you) then when you're deep enough click on one of the workers and they will build up that little mine and start throwing you cobblestone until you tell them to stop.
You cant leave them, you have to be near them so they can keep mining, just like wood cutters.
Hey, great mod! Just started it yesterday, and the only problem I noticed was that the refugee still referred to me as king and talked about the evil guys even though I hadn't even spoken to the guild master yet.
Also, have you even thought of putting a dungeon type thing under the guild hall to help the path to kingship along a bit quicker? Just a long mob filled dungeon with little to no loot.
Also, here's a possible bug I found (or just a random lucky fluke).
So I started a new world and decided I would go as fast through the Tiers and everything as possible. I went to one of the reficule spots with all the netherrack and fire and killed everything there (along with 3 hunters, otherwise I'd have died). A minute or two later, the guild was utterly raped by a reficule attack, and I went in and tried to fight in it. Needless to say the lag got absolutely horrendous, and so I closed Minecraft, let my computer cool down for a minute, then re-opened the level. The guild was still on fire, but the reficule enemies were all gone. Disappeared. Not even coins where they might have been killed by the assassins. Since that point, all reficule areas are completely deserted. It's really creepy. oO

I added your prices for the arrow mod thank you. Anyways, if you want a special tweaking in prices, you could go pm me your prices and I will compile one for you.

You cant leave them, you have to be near them so they can keep mining, just like wood cutters.
wood cutters are worse, you have to constantly point to trees for them to cut.
with a miner you can leave him mining all night and when you wake you will have all the stone you need to completely build a tier and move up the the next tier.
They only mine cobble stone though. they should randomly throw you some other ore, like coal.
It would be nice if TOK could steal the miners and lumberjacks from minecolony though. Them guys are pretty sweet. like watching the lumberjack plant trees as he takes down old ones and then piles the wood in a chess, far more handy workers.
how mine colony builds is pretty sweet as well. Or at least it is procedural. In stead of popping up magically, the builder guy builds it one block at a time. Not sure what went into either of those ideas. I suppose the TOK uses a simpler method for a reason but it would be cool to see anyways.
I was hoping someone can help me with these issues:most important of all MY GUILDMASTER IS GONE, my inn keeper is not behind the counter he is wandering around the castle and a little out of it, my farmer is gone too, my town builder is wandering around like the inn keeper and so is my blacksmith and i forgot my food merchant is GONE also.
i went to look back to see if someone saw me ask someone to post this mod's link to chimmenyswift11, and i got so lost.
Lol sooo lost, so can someone tell me if anyone did? Please?coldfist, i think its a bug, authogh you probly figured it out, im no coder, yet :tongue.gif:

nope.. not that I have seen.
matter of fact I wish some modders would get together and decide who is evil and who isnt when it comes to mobs.
My mo creatures kitties hate everyone... my humans+ love to kill my mine colony townies.
anyways my entire kingdom is often eradicated. Simply save the game and restart the game and they should all be back in their rightful places. If not... i suppose the buildings could be damaged.. have the builder guy repair them.
