Did you try exiting and logging back in? In most cases with TOK or Milleniare that gets them back, unless you're having a weird issues like mine where you've deleted .prop and tried restoring the kingdom and had it freeze on you. IS that the case? Did you delete the .prop before trying it the update? That may have caused it too. IDK though.
If I deleted the .prop its because I log out of Minecraft first, never a good plan to manipulate files while using them. The game didn't freeze on me there wasn't any difference in fact, the NPC are still nowhere to be seen. Anyway so far seem to be more work than fun, all I did is work and didn't get anything out of it but a bugged "city".
I will wait a few days for a solution, otherwise it will join others in the mods junkyard.
I love this mod but I am starting to get frustrated with the very high spawn-rates for burning villages and enemy camps. is there a way to disable their generation or turn their spawn rate way down? While I enjoy playing the mod, I'm also someone who likes to build and I am very fussy about aesthetics. The burning villages and camps can ruin the landscape on occasion (especially the villages which generate large amounts of dirt underneath that creates unnatural hills or covers rivers.
I looked around but couldn't find a list of the NPC name and ID used by this mod, with those I could use Single Player Command to Spawn them back. In fact I checked the Wiki also but frankly there isn't much info there. It would be great to have access to every bit of info this mod contain, list of what is included, a description of how to interact with it, where and when it can be found and the effect it will have on the game. I like to know what I am dealing with and without info I cant plan anything.
I've been using this mod since it came out, and I can assure you, the bugs get fixed quite quickly. Other than the couple of issues with NPC's disappearing and the ruination by the random spawning villages, which isn't too bad if you crank up the rarity before you go exploring, I think it's a fantastic mod which is high on usefulness and low on adding items. It also plays well with other mods, especially Millinare and Mo'Creatures - it allows you to buy items from both those mods at the shops in the Kingdom. Like all good mods, this one is constantly being improved and updated, and if you want to make it better add more details about what goes wrong, AFTER MAKING SURE you've read the first page, and the last 2-3 pages to see if your issue's already been answered.I've been using this mod since it came out, and I can assure you, the bugs get fixed quite quickly. Could you please explain why when i made a creative mode world went up a mountain and found dark mages and warriors with netherrack and fire and a huge tunnel to the void i mean WTH IS THAT SHT? i dont want that in my game ik its from this mod i checked textures and they were with others from this mod is there a way to toggle it off and please mention it in the post please cause i dont want other people haveing the same thing happening except in survival mode cause those guys could kick someones ass
I installed Single player command and spawned the Builder and ask it to Fix the whole kingdom. Another city spawned with all the NPCs that disappeared in the first place. So now I have a ghost town and a clone city way too close to the Guild for my taste. I tried another Fix, no difference and starting the game over didn't change anything either.
At Tier 3 the city is under 30 blocks from the Guild. I am worried Tier 4 when it comes out will overlap with the City.
And btw there is no Resources area as in previous update, is that normal? I checked both city for it and nothing.

With sincerity and no offense intended I must say that your post jumps to conclusions that are pretty well spelled out in the first page. Part of the whole intention of the mod is to create adversaries capable of "kicking someones ass" =)
There are a number of things you can adjust in the config file, including the rarity of enemy spawn camps. This is also very much a work in progress. If you don't like the idea, I get that, but the creator took a lot of time and effort to build this. You might read up a bit before pulling out the "WTH IS THAT SHT!" card =)

Huh? You install a mod and expect it to not work in creative? Are you stone or what? And as for getting your ass kicked in creative, last I checked there was no hit point in creative. If they bother you that much then uninstall the mod, make your own paradise and then reinstall the mod to play survival. Not very difficult since all you have to do is move a zip file from/to the mods folder.
For some reason the game crashes when using barrier and bolt.
For some reason the game crashes when using barrier and bolt at the same time.
The same thing happned to me when I was in a dungion from the better dungeon not all my 16 men were dead and my sword being as powerful as a regular punch i was surrounded by an end less army of zombies with a mob spawner in the middle of the room I wanted to blow the zombies away so I can kill tge spawner and I put up barrier to test it and see if I would get hurt I got burned and on fire 5 secs later game froze and crashed
Ho'kay, I decided to get rid of forge so I could use other mods without conflicts, and decided to try deleting the .props file and give building the kingdom another go. So, I redid the mods through MCPatcher and hit test, so I could see what was happening while the kingdom was building, and it kept saying "Save :C:\Users\BeMac\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\saves\Crazy Town/KingdomModSave.dat" for about 20 minutes, then just stopped amd hasn't said anything since, yet the "Loading Please wait screen" is still up.
Edit - so, I've been reading www.sinfest.net and letting it do it's thing, and it's been another 1/2 hour, I'm still getting saves to the kingdom.save file, but it's still saying loading, please wait. Is this normal?

No its not, the game froze. Close it and start the game again.
I absolutely love this mod! It brings a whole 'nother level to Minecraft.
However, i have noticed that Excalibur is rediculously destructive, and after experimenting with it for a few nights in a row i noticed that i had just majorly griefed my own kingdom (in my world).
Other than that, this mod is absolutely fantastic! Keep up the good work!

Some serious epicness going on at this site... Be sure to god-like me so I can rate you back!

You're an idiot. I just explained how it didn't freeze, how things were still working and that was my 3rd attempt trying it with the same things happening. I was on a Mo'Creatures horse that was wandering around while the city was building and had ducks and bunnies bouncing around.
Don't reply to people unless you know what you're talking about, fool.

So in case you are using a code, your fcking text says something is wrong and you're asking if it is normal. To which I answer it froze because getting stuck on a saving msg for 20 mins and loading for 30 mins = not normal = game froze. So captain dipshit, next time re read yourself before trashing people that honestly tried to help you.

You know what?...
You're correct, I could have (and thought I had been) clearer on what was happening, so I apologize. I did, however assume that that post would be taken in context with the other posts on this page, as well as the fact this had been my 3rd go at it, with similar results.
So, to clarify - Updated from pre2 to pre3, deleted the .props file, at which point I found my guild memeber's had disappeared. Heading back from the Guild to my Kingdom I happened across a bunch of guild members between my kingdom and the guild, using spawner gui I spawned a Guild Master, rebuilt the Guild, which created a new guild between the kingdom and original guild location. Trying the Rebuild option again, the member of the guild went back to the original location of the guild. Trying the rebuild option at the original site (as I had knocked some holes in in) didn't work, but rebuilt the second guild.
Now, going to the Kingdom after that all the folks were there, I was able to buy and sell stuff, but having read the first page I saw that I had to get the builder to rebuild the kingdom to get the outpost. So I talked to the builder, where I entered a "Loading, Please Wait" screen, which stayed up while there was activity from animals and TOK warriors happening in the back ground, showing that the game hadn't froze, but no changes were happening. After hitting exit after 10 minutes of waiting, all the npc's except for the warriors hired at the kingdom's hiring hall had disappeared, at which point I quit minecraft, restarted it and tried attempt #2. That had the same results, so I tried deleting the .prop file yet again, re-installed all my mods to see if that was the conflict, including removing forge, and tried it again through the "test" button of MCEDIT, where I could see that the .save file was being changed, but after 45 minutes was still in the "Loading, please wait" screen.
Is that clearer? If it's not please let me know where I can clarify, and I will do so.
Once again, sorry for being a Captain DipShit. I get annoyed at simplistic answers to forum posts, but will endeavour to be less abrasive in the future.

Damn I was checking the thread for a solution to my problem, looks like it wont happen.
Thank you! :smile.gif:

Its back to wood plank now but he should not refuse cobblestone, unless he already as the max he can carry (5).
