According to my knowledge, your overall percentage is not correct! Ill explain: %100 for completion, 6 groups, so each group counts %16.66 of the overall amount. Armor are %20 done which therefore means that it is %20 of %16.66 which adds up to %3.337 of the whole project! Swords are %5 done which therefore means that it is %5 of %16.66 which adds up to %0.83 of the whole project! Therefore meaning the overall completion percentage is %4.17!

According to my knowledge, each subset of goals would have a 0-100% completion range. Armor being 20% done does not mean that 20% of the entire mod is done.
That would be like saying if I divided something into 10 pieces, then combined 100% of each piece back together, that I would end up with 1000% of what I started with.

According to your knowledge, stay in school.
Sorry to tell you but you are incorrect! there are 6 catagories which all must add up to %100 percent. which means each catagory is worth %16.66.

6 INDIVIDUAL categories. Each category independent of the others represents 100% of itself. Or in your reality, 100% of 16.66%.
16.66% = 100% per category. They are the same. So if Armor was 20% done, and you wanted to know how much 20% of armor related to the entire mod, then it would be 20% of 16.66%, or ~3.33% of the entire mod.
I have 4 quarters. 1 quarter is 25% of a dollar. If I changed one quarter for nickles, 1 nickle would be 20% of a 25% of $1, not 20% of $1.

Wait a minute, Im saying the exact same thing as u read my first post again. I said that armor was %3.337 of the whole mod! Also I live in Australia so i don't really know about all that quarter and nickle stuff

True that my ausie friend. Although I think your both doing the same thing.
4.166667% is correct, although i think your doing it the hard way, easy way
20+5=25, 25/600 = 0.041666667 or 4.166667%
EDIT: Also to the OP, tell us more details about your mod and we will start talking about your mod rather than maths.

I'm assuming 1 AUD is 100 cents/pennies/whatever...
From what I can tell from this topic, all it is is a bunch of guys arguing about percentages and currency. Now I'd like to know what exactly you mean by "more blocks" or "more mobs," give some examples, perhaps?
EDIT: Not trying to be rude, but I just want to know what kind of a mod this will be.
