I would do this, but you have no idea how hard it is. Not only would this be the most epic mod ever, but it would be the hardest to create.

I might start on this, but I will probably never finish it.

No, it's generation types. Normal is the only generation type evaluable atm.

I see. Well, judging from the screenshot, it lacks hunger and maybe even most post1.7 things. This mod will have all 1.8 and beyond gameplay on the old terrain. Slight misunderstanding, man.

That's another reason I want this mod made so much; anyone who has more than 2 people use a copy of minecraft (like family) can chose which one they personally like without conflicting at all with the other members.

I REALLY wish this mod can be made. I only switch Jars when Install mods that haven't been updated, but I've been curious to how old generation can look like. Is It really in Development already?

When do you think the mod will be finished because i love the idea Here's a crafting bench so the work will go by faster

Ofc I'm supporting this. I love alpha even though I didn't play alpha!

Actually the only reason I really want this is because i deleted ALL my alpha worlds like a total idiots now i only have 1.8 worlds.

This is possible, but would require a terrain overall. I hope you can find someone with the time/Patience/skill to do this. Good Look!

I actually downgraded to alpha just because I love the terrain generation, then I'll switch to Minecraft 1.0 XD I really hope jeb or notch or SOMEONE will add this to the game.. Or just change the generation system entirely, but include ravines, villages, strongholds and abandon mineshafts. Thank you for posting this topic! I'm off to change my signature!

I think I will try to make a mod for this because it is a really good idea and I definatly agree with this.

YES. Although Forge would be a good idea, due to all the modded classes, plus red-power,IC and BC could gen their ores and features in old style terrain
