Heeey. I really love this mod, but i want to play it with my friend. But it doesnt seem to work?. Could you post a video describing how to or make a more detailed version. What i do, what is apparently wrong -.-' is putting it all in the server jar file, modloader and forge works fine, it just cant see more ores! One of my friends said it wasnt updated, so when i saw the .1 version of it, i hoped it would work, but STILL DOESNT T_T Tell me what im doing wrong!
remember that if youre in an old world, our ores wont show up until you go to a newly generated section of the world (generation isnt retroactive without another mod)
if youre on a brand-spankin new world and my ores still arent showing up go to the server folder, look for the folder called MoreOres and open up the spawning properties file in that folder, make sure everything is set to spawn
if that still doesnt work, then pm me!

Sup :biggrin.gif: Thanks for replying so quickly! But i am creating new worlds all the time! And I know it doesnt have anything to do with my worlds, cause when i spawn items, and try to use them, they simply disappear! Frustrating! And no, i cant make an error report, cause it never even reads the file, so no "errors"
what do you mean its not reading it? is the mod not even loading? do you have any other mods installed?

do you also have the client version installed as well? are you using 1.8.1?
I only ask because I had this mod working on a server with other mods
I have no other mods :ohmy.gif: And what i mean about it not reading is that it doesnt matter if i put More Ores in the server jar, nothing happens. And yes, i do have it installed on singleplayer. And it works just fine there

Could you help me, whenever I try to install it I'm not able to craft the items. And when I try to mine redstone, it drops tin.
It's either me or the mod.
the crafting bug is know, but are you sure its redstone thats dropping tin? and is it happening all the time (i have no idea whatsoever why that would happen)

I was wondering, is this compatable with the ore dictionary part of the new minecraft forge? can i use your copper and tin to make more industrialcraft items? i've got this ridiculous and unlikely goal of getting enough mods to get more ore then cobblestone and i'll probably use this one anyway without the ore dictionary but it wouuuuuld be nice.

go check your spawn properties file, its located in /YourSeverFolder/MoreOres/spawnsettings.txt (or at least should be, if its not then thats your problem!)
make sure the "What will spawn:" line looks correct (read the comments to see what you can put there)

uuuum i dont really understand it myself, but what i do understand is that in forge version 1.1.2 they added something where ores from different minecraftforge mods can work with each other? so far the only ones i know of doing it are redpower 2 and ic2, you can use the copper and tin from each mod together, like being able to use the macerator on redpower's copper ore and being able to swap for each other in crafting recipes... im just looking foreward to having increasingly versatile materials as the mods start crossing over.
also, this mod seems to cause the id resolver mod to skip resolving any ids on startup- and i was wondering if this is a problem with the more ids thing you have included? thanks for the help.
Can you make it like buildcraft, except you use these materials to make pumps, so that you make a canal, with pumps, and oil? and other stuff you might find. Gas nad Gas Sacks, like gunpowder except 1 needed for TNT
