Poll: The name of that mod should be different from Ships&Boats and Ph
We have agreed with Eagle_Orion, creator of PhysicsCraft, and Shereis, to join forces to make a mod featuring physics from PhysicsCraft and also the rendering and block interaction facilities of Ships&Boats.
This mod has to be one of the most exciting experiences I've ever had in Minecraft, and certainly the most fun I've had in awhile. Being a skypirate on my own fleet of airships is awesome, even without multiplayer.
i really love this mod an if you need and i would love to help so reply to this post i cant wait till multiplier and if it gets on tekkit me and my friends we saying it would revolutionize the way it is played we are anticipating the arrival of multiplier got all of the items to craft every thing in both tekkit and normal minecraft
Since I'm too lazy to read the whole thread, I get a "Saving Chunks" screen when I load a world. No error reports. Just a "Saving Chunks" screen. Even if creating a new world

Hey i watched a video for another minecraft mod (physics craft i believe) and it showed the solution to a problem that i get (and im sure others do) that when we build our ships, we have to make a temporary bridge from land out to the sea to start our ships then destroy the bridge so it wont "touch" land anymore. But is it possible to give Water Source blocks a Hit Box for blocks so that we can place blocks over them like we do with the smaller Boat/Dingy and whatever the other is?

A Radeon HD 5770 might be an old card but i gets the job done (8GB RAM and a Quad Phenom help too) . admitably though, my FPS do drop from the average 60 to 30. (i mean with 7435 blocks its a real strain) also whenever i switch it too and from the world MC freezes for bout 3secs while its rendering all of it. (i even have to break and replace the anchors button sometimes cuz it'll stay in the "Pressed" poisition from this 3 sec freeze)
Sorry for double post but i just found a very interesting glitch. It seems that when used with other mods that have a specific animation, function, Unit production ect. when used on the ship switching to and from the world the mechanism increase in production. For example, the Elevators on my carrier go at the standard RP frame speed, after i switch it too and from Ship mode, it operated at roughly 2x the speed, retried then it worked at 3x speed. Buildcraft engines saw the same effect as they started pumping a hell of alot faster (and yes im sure it wasnt just from them Heating up, because my RS engine was going as fast a Combustion on Red) on IC2 (which im glad to say the energy now flows properly ) i got 1 HV Solar Panel (512 Eu/T) to produce by itself 4096 Eu/T. and with Explosives +, the Missile Launcher (whos animation is to SLOWLY turn in a circle) was suddenly turning at about 90 Revoltutions per Minute (or about 1.5 per sec)
Edit: This effect will wear off once you exit the world and re-enter, not sure if it works same if you we're to unload the chunk though

If your using the older version of forge (Pre-Forge Mod Loader, or Pre- 3.3.8) then you can check the Mod-Compatability video i made (if you look at the Original Post, there should be a link called "compatability") and on the bottom of that is the video that got Sir's approval if your using the more to date version (3.3.8) then im currently making that video. Although i can tell you that if its a Forge mod, then it's (practically) Gauranteed to rk with Ships and Boats (with a few bugs and glitches sometimes) with your only real problem with being ID conflicts for crashes.
Wah! I can pass trough my submarine if I walk on some walls! I fell to the ocean and was never found again because the sub was going at full speed.
yeah you have to be careful when youre moving around your ship and it isnt completely flush with the world (meaning unless you ships is moving 100% North South East or West) because at angles ( NE NW SE SW) the "blocks" of your ship don't have very good hit boxes so you can clip through them (Now imagine in my case where i was in a Stealth Bomber at level 180 and clipped through the walls)

My plan as of now is:
- Make an SMP version
- Port to MC 1.3 after it is out (not clear how long this would take)
- Finish the physics stuff.
- All the remaining stuff in my TODO
