Poll: The name of that mod should be different from Ships&Boats and Ph
We have agreed with Eagle_Orion, creator of PhysicsCraft, and Shereis, to join forces to make a mod featuring physics from PhysicsCraft and also the rendering and block interaction facilities of Ships&Boats.
I'm planning a more sophisticated ship's control scheme. As of now, when you press some keys, you can control Water Pumps or Aether pumps. Something similar you will see in following releases for propellers. However I also want to add other remote-controlled actuators, e.g., when you press a key, a special block can power redstone mechanisms. Something similar I will do for pivot blocks, which by the way, will behave similarly to that UGoCraft Mod that became famous recently.
Next step will be cranes or other similar equipment, made using pivot blocks.
Alright, I have three banners that look a little different. So you(sirentropy) can pick the final one. Others can voice there opinions as well.

Personally, I really like #2
But it does look a little plain, it doesn't really give you that feeling to 'explore your world'.
Same for the scenery, the land behind the ships looks so empty, like there is nothing to explore.
The banner used right now is a good example of that.
I don't mean to say it's bad, but I'm just pointing you to some points that could be improved in my oppinion

When I die in an airship, I get a ghost image that follows me everywhere, it makes it hard to see.
Here's an image of me respawning back at my bed:
The actual ship where you crashed becomes invisible.
I can fix this by quitting and reloading, but I thought you should be aware.
This wouldn't be so much of a problem except that you can randomly take an instant kill amount of damage when striking an object even when moving extremely slow while parking.
This is true even when wearing full enchanted diamond armor.
Thanks guys for your feedback! I am not offended at useful suggestions I will get working on that next week(gonna take a little break ) So, just to confirm, here is a list of changes I should make:
--Less text(should I take out the "Boats!" "Subs!" "Airships!" part?)(and what about the Explore your world part, keep it or cut it?)
--Better scenery(perhaps a harbor?, Is the open sea ok? Suggestions welcome!)
--Better Sub(Gonna check out other MC subs for inspiration)
--Better angle

I found those two bugs a few weeks ago. They will be fixed in the next release

Please read the Compatibility List. Most likely you are using Single Player Commands, which yields those weird results.
Everytime i read crap like that i am wondering, how the hell you people install those mods?
Any of problems you EVER posted in this topic never happened to me.
btw, sir, you need to do something that NPCs don't fall off ships D: Idk if it was fixed already, didn't check but i guess no D:

-- Regarding falling NPCs, do they fall through the floor, or do they fall when walking through the walls?
Hmm, i'm pretty sure floor. Will check again now, mostly they dissapeared after i was launching teh boat D: i will try placing Noppe's NPC after placing boat. edit: they dont fall... they totally dissapear

The ship and the airship look very nice
I would suggest doing some changes to layout and text of these new banners.
I prefer the layout and the text you used in the previous banner: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/697371-125-ships-and-boats-version-094-new-boats-submarines-airships-and-cannons/page__view__findpost__p__15034112 These new ones look a bit overloaded with text. Also, the previous banner had both ships very well positioned in the image.Also, the sub is a little too dark, making it difficult to discern it. Maybe you can try lighting it up a little bit?
Very nice, but as for sub.. It's need to be more detail (won't mind when I suggest?).

I do not keep track of MC compatibility for previous versions. You can try with pre 0.7 versions of Ships&Boats to find out
