Poll: The name of that mod should be different from Ships&Boats and Ph
We have agreed with Eagle_Orion, creator of PhysicsCraft, and Shereis, to join forces to make a mod featuring physics from PhysicsCraft and also the rendering and block interaction facilities of Ships&Boats.
Well I tested it, and it doesn't register the bottom blocks, was it because they were in the water?
What do you mean? That the bottom blocks do not appear in the ship or that the player does not collide with bottom blocks and the player sinks into the water?
If the problem is the first, make sure that the ship is built inside the scaffold. Any block outside it (including blocks at the same height than the scaffold borders) will not be part of the ship.
If the problem is the second, collision detection is still buggy. Collision detection works better when the ship is facing Nort, South, East or West. Other directions do not work well, and the ship moves slower. I´m working on that.

Nvm , i figured it out, i put blocks insinde the water.
my scaffolds were inside the water as well. But i got it working now, and yeah i noticed that it moves slower when i'm on a diagonal angle, good to know you're working on fixing it :smile.gif:
the cannons priority should be at least bumped up to medium. We....must...have...CANNONS!!!!

That depends on the ratio of amount of metal vs the volume of the ship. The amount of metal in a real-world ship is just a small fraction, compared to the entire volume of the ship. Most of the volume of the ship is air or other things lighter than iron; that's why they float. If a ship had too much metal, its average density would be higher than water and it would sink.
Instead of density taken the weight of the ship and still in normal HP.. When people trying to build ironclad (the armored warship and still use side cannons and it made out of iron with wooden planks), You can mod a water pumper that increase its total weight without taking limits FROM the body of whole block of irons..
Simplification: You can increase the maximum of total ship weight used on heavier blocks is to use some sort of water extractor and pull out to sea (like a pumper). So, it will easily make an armored frigates made out of fully irons.. Still, with the weight of the frigates was too heavy. You can make more pumpers to keep up with the weight and more HP than wooden warships. (It like filling a balloon with helium and got full space of air inside of the ship). It can be a lot of witness of the armored ship made out of iron:
- Slow
- To go faster, need an engines into it
- Even though has more HP but when experience seaman found a witness of the ship (like pumpers) will greatly chances of sinking
- Pumpers are much weaker than wooden blocks
So, Extra weight = More pumpers needed to make early modern ships..
Ship comparable:
Wooden ships to iron ships.
-Wooden ships has no witnesses spot, the iron ships has some..
-Wooden ships good as scouts, iron ships are great against other ships.
-Wooden ships are fast,swift and durable. Iron ships are slow but more armor and decent firepower.
-Wooden ships are cheap to build, iron ships are expensive.
-Wooden ships only carries side cannons, iron ships can carries very expensive and powerful navy guns.

It sounds like you've got your seat facing the wrong way. Assuming that's possible. (I can't use the mod until I can change the BlockID's)
Also, how is he meant to fix the bug if you don't provide him with anything useful? ಠ_ಠ

lol. woot errors!!! No crashing... but... I can't use the seat, lol. therefor I can not steer it... any suggestions?
is it just incompatible with zeppelin mod? cuz I cant use the ships of that mod but aircraft works fine.
Under some situations seats do not work, for instance, when seats are placed in the borders of the ship. This is a known bug and I am trying to fix it.
Next version will have a config file to change block numbers, so it can be used together with other mods
I will do a heavy refactoring and debugging to the mod, so you will have to wait for some days before the next release. If version 0.5 is too buggy for you, you can use 0.4. World saves shouldn't be affected by the version change.

Not yet, although it may be possible to do it once I make the ship's blocks functional.

and if you build at the height on the bottom, your boat will rip off the bottom blocks and launch across the world lol

Maybe you could zip your world save folder and put a link to download it, so I could use it to reproduce the error you mention
