Poll: The name of that mod should be different from Ships&Boats and Ph
We have agreed with Eagle_Orion, creator of PhysicsCraft, and Shereis, to join forces to make a mod featuring physics from PhysicsCraft and also the rendering and block interaction facilities of Ships&Boats.
is there a way for airships to keep a certain height? whenever i adjust the buoyancy it either goes up or down, and never stops (or at least not for awhile)

Boat mechanics (including the standard MC boat) are changed with Ships&Boats. In order to move a boat at a decent speed, you have to craft Oars and have them selected (so you can see them in your right hand), when mounting a boat. Is it clearer now?
I will add more docs about boats when I add more complex mechanics to them

Having consistent problems with minecraft crashing upon use of the champagne bottle. Ships and boats added last as per instructions.

You have Single Player Commands installed. Uninstall it. Currently Ships & Boats is incompatible with SPC NOT APPLICABLE
I get the following error after installing S&B:
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Slot 240 is already occupied by <some block name>
That error happens because the Vehicle Creator block ID conflicts with some block of another mod you have installed. To avoid this error, go to the minecraft folder (see http://gaming.stacke...lder-on-windows) enter the config folder and edit the file mod_ShipsAndBoats.cfg. Change the value of vehicleCreatorBlockID to some number different than 240 (and less than 255).
If the error persists, you may also need to change the value of seatBlockID, which has the default value of 241.

The anchor looks really good. Also, i apologize for never followig up on my promise to help texture, but it is now physically impossible for me to use techne. When it started for the first time, CA security kept pestering me about it something wanting access to my PC, even though my subscription ran out. It wouldnt leave, so i just clicked "always deny". Turns out it ewas the the Techne website, so i cant use it. Also, since CA expired, it wont let me adjust the blocked IP's.

you NEED to tell them more. Of course the mod works, otherwise other ppl would be complaining. They need info. Was there an Error log? Did you install Modloader and MC FOrge first? DO have any incompatible mods like Single Player Commands? IF there was an error report, did you at least READ it incase it told you the problem?

I believe there's already a sort of submarine functionality. I assume you mean a different kind, for more of a utility-type use.

I think that this should be a fairly high priority, as it seems to me that the weapons aspect of this mod needs to be a bit more viable for naval combat. Because you know, we totally need to be thinking about naval warfare for a mod that isn't smp-compatible yet.

It's good to see you here as well, Scout! The first time I saw this mod (many versions ago) I admit, I thought it was just a fairly simple thing allowing you to make different ships block by block. Now I look at it again, and I see the potential for totally Minecrafty naval warfare! Can't wait for MC v1.3 and a SMP version of this.

Ships made of material with higher blast risistance will be stronger, as shots fired into them will do less structural damage. I'm pretty sure the highest (practically) finite blast resistance is that of end stone.

The Dinghy is faster than the vanilla boat. Skiff is a little bigger and in future releases will have additional elements,such as chests and engines

First of all
Check: CompatibilityList.
If you are using any mod listed there as incompatible, you will have to refrain using the incompatible mod and wait until I fix the compatiblity issue.
If there are still problems, see below DID THIS
