Poll: The name of that mod should be different from Ships&Boats and Ph
We have agreed with Eagle_Orion, creator of PhysicsCraft, and Shereis, to join forces to make a mod featuring physics from PhysicsCraft and also the rendering and block interaction facilities of Ships&Boats.
Good news i just downloaded build craft 3.1.6.102 and it looks like pipes work with ships (Void pipes sandstone pipes both water proof and transport pipes) i will test this more in my testing world and repost back on my findings
It would be cool if ice did damage to blocks made of iron or weaker, then we could make Titanic, or contrary to that, Icebreakers with obsidian hulls. I've made my tanker out of iron, I'm dreading launching it incase it sinks. Then my harbour which took long enough to build will be jammed, I'll have to make a tugboat to pull out the tanker.
That's why I like this mod so much though, because of the scenarios it presents.
So, from what I understand, you can't testdrive your tanker because its jammed in a dock? If not, you don't have to worry about it breaking and sinking, I tested by blowing up a ship and it didn't sink.
About blowing ships up. I shot a shot with a cannon and it didn't sink. It first got a gaping hole in it and then started glitching out spazzing all over the place. Was it because it was close to a shipyard?
Also can a ship not sale back into a shipyard it was made in? Mine kept bouncing off it a few meters out.
Can cannons be made to fire using redstone? It would be cool to press a button and have your entire broadside fire off. Or is this kept manual for balancing and requiring multiple players at cannons when multiplayer roles round?
i can say pipes will work on air ships but the pipes dont update but the oil lava and water still flows threw, tanks work. what doesnt work are pumps and gates for the pipes
(Gates will pop off the pipe and become un-useable after the ship is docked)
Testing it more seems like pipes only work if you lay them when the ship isnt docked and they dont work after the ship is docked
(The pipes how ever they need to be place on the boat when the boat isnt docked in order to work keep in mind if you dock the boat with anchor or ship in a bottle the pipes will be come useless and you will need to replace them as well with gates. Gates will work if the ship isnt docked and placed on a pipe. everything also appers to be working when the ship is moving. How ever the pump doesnt work)
And what about compatibility with other mods here, I was expecting to add Ships and Boats on my tekkit server (SMP), this obviously won't be possible if its linked to PhysicsCraft because if I understand it right, all of the mods have to be compatible with PhysicsCraft for it to work and all the mods that aren't will make it crash.
to avoid that problem, we will make two versions, one for vanilla and one for forge

No because I'm in SMP, but I guess it probably would work if I started a SSP world in Tekkit, in fact, lets see what happens, that could be interesting to see the results, I'll be back.

Maybe its because I've used some RP2 stuff on the ship (nothing fancy, some RP2 lamps, a classic lever and some red alloy wire there) I'll test it without that and report back.

If it works could I play your server? I love Tekkit and it would be awsome to have play a Tekkit server with this mod in it!
It doesn't work even in SSP, I just get Saving chunks every time I hit the champagne bottle and the game crash without any reports of any kind, any help would be welcome here.
It seemed to work in the mods folder except crash with saving chunks screen, then I got it installed in the modpack,jar (refused to start in the minecraft.jar file) then it works somehow but the boat and textures are invisible except the seat, where should I install this mod so it works at least in SSP without problems.

Is Mystcraft completely incompatible (aka they crash when both are installed) or is it just that you wont be able to have ships in the Ages?

I get Saving chunks, too. MAKE THIS TEKKIT COMPATIBLE, MAN!
Note: The Aether and Water pumps textures fit right in with Sphax BD Pure
