Poll: The name of that mod should be different from Ships&Boats and Ph
We have agreed with Eagle_Orion, creator of PhysicsCraft, and Shereis, to join forces to make a mod featuring physics from PhysicsCraft and also the rendering and block interaction facilities of Ships&Boats.
You just saved me some words I agree though, maybe on the back end of the TODO list you should add a few ways of the ship breaking like : Splits in half, Current one, and explodes one the sea floor sending blocks everywhere.
I just uploaded version 0.10.1, which is compatible with the latest recommended version of MC Forge. Note that 0.10.1 has no new features, just this compatibility fix
Had a small idea, flying ship balance. Meaning if you have some aether pumps on one side only its going to tilt down in the direction its not directly lifting. Meaning if I had something like my drop ship with the 4 squares with aether pumps inside, if one side is knocked out it will list heavily and make it harder to fly, or something like that i'm not sure exactly what i'm saying

Are you extract all of this mod into minecraft's java.. It does not work when putting in mods file..

The only problem for that is that it would be necessary a mechanism to individually control each aether pump, to ensure that the ship keeps stabilized. Any ideas about that?

I figured a block to control everything would be able to access any pump on the craft since they are all connected. A block that would make it more advanced but it could work like normal without

Ive been trying to decide whether to download this into my actual (Survival) World (previously Ive been playing in random Creative maps I made for testing on a different computer). I recently found a village across an ocean (big ocean) and have been thinking of putting this mod into my Survival game to make a cargo ship to take supplies over to build more to the village... Only things are...

The mod [probably] wont be usable when 1.3 comes out. Sir Entropy will need to update it.

All mods carry the potential to "Break" worlds, thats why you make backups. every time you do something uber important, just update your backups.

Diagnalblocks that aren't touching anything directly don't count as ship pieces, also signs can connect the ship to a harbor so make sure you are at least 2 blocks from the dock. And water should be at least 10 blocks deep, Sir Entropy says less but I've found that I still get snagged sometimes in waters less than 5-10 blocks deep.

From what i've heard, I think the mod API isn't coming out until 1.4 If i'm wrong tell me with some proof(I want to be wrong :P).

Use minecarts to transfer them into the cargo hold, then sail them out to sea! Have a control block have to touch each pump, like One pump has one controller underneath it. and have it that way for all the pumps.
