If your having problems with IDs there's a link to an epic mod somewhere on this thread that allows you to edit blockIDs. I would reccomend using that until I get properties working. (IF I ever get it working...might need help with it)
Also, this works in the mods folder too, just .zip up the client folder's contents and put it in there, easier to remove if there's a problem.

Did you ever update 1.1 to fix the conflict with the More Dungeons Mod? I started a new world and I crash every time I try to enter Nether. I''l try to get a crash report but my install of Win7 x64 throws a hissy fit whenever I try so I may have to recreate the error in 32 bit Win7.

I read your earlier posts and saw the bit about the hotfix so I'm guessing you haven't released it yet. In any case I fixed the issue by deleting the files mod_netherdungeon.class and WorldGenNetherDungeon.class from MoreDungeons. The dungeons in that mod weren't a big deal anyway so I'm not missing much...hopefully I'll be able to find one of yours

Yh sadly it's not out because I decided I'd also fix some other bugs. One in particular is I *might* have a solution to the armor effects not working on SMP problem.

It's like normal but with some altercations to what runs it. Instead of generateSurface, it's generateNether:

Why not make A mob That Hides in Nether caves, Possibly make it Immune to Fall damage But take fire and water damage? It could be like a spider, Only smaller and weaker.Also Try adding Some more fluids, Mabey a water that Slowly heals somebody, But if they are wearing armor it damages the armor until it breaks, With Extremely Rare spawn? That would Be cool, Making it So in SMP or in SSP You could make like a Medical room.(Sorry for all the ideas :tongue.gif: ) And one more thing:

Oh I see, yeah I assumed you put it there for the SMP version of the mod.

-added new GUI for configurations, currently a bit bugged somewhat and it's not saved when you close minecraft.
Most features of the GUI are disabled in SMP to prevent problems, so it's mostly for SSP use. To open it, hit
"G" or the equivilant on your keyboard.
-added full Creative Mode support: nether better blocks now appear in the creative gui as well as the items!
-edited armor texture, now is full body armor to better explain immunity in lava.

This is something I was debating on: Making a mob in the nether that isn't fire-retardant. It doesn't make much sense; if it lives in the nether it has to be able to withstand heat. So I haven't tried making that work.
Also with water, it doesn't make sense unless the liquid is made up or unnatural. I do like the idea of healing liquids but even if it did work, adding new liquids is a giant pain.
