While on one of the servers you have listed i found what appears to be a bug? While in a desert biome metalgreymon were spawning perpetually to the point the lag was unbearable, i haven't tested it with other biomes but the extreme hills on the same server didn't appear to have this problem

that is not a bug its the idiot server owner making the spawn rate retardedly high.
Thought I would make a slight update on progress so no one thinks we are dead or anything.
In the hectic transition to updating to 1.7, I have finally removed 90% of the 2000 errors that it created. By the weekend, we should at least be bug free and ready to move on to adding new things.
I may consider updating 0.8.5a to 1.7 next week depending on how the progression looks. It will all come down to
-How close is 1.8
-How long will it take to add in all the new stuff I am implementing for Digimobs 0.9.0
-If there is enough requests for it.
Is there any need for help with modeling and or texturing if so can i make any models or texture you need or just make some just if you dont want to wait or model it or texture it when the code is ready

there are many things you can feed them, the best thing to find right now is meat from dragon digimon as you can plant it and grow tons, its also op because you can also eat it and it fills you up all the way

Am I getting a bug or am I just getting bad seeds or messing it up? because I see a few digimon in one spot but once I kill them they hardly ever respawn or any other never spawn and in my new seed I set it to peaceful but I can't find any digimobs on land. plz help

It's quite straight forward. "Found in Beginning Forest"
Beginning Forest... one of the biome's added with the mod. You'll know it when you see it as there is a lot of colour in the biome.

Working on several mods, some are Bleach, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Medacraft, Legacy of Kain, Jak and Daxter.
Currently finishing up the final touches on Digimobs(0.9.0), the 1.7 version, and I am here to just outline some of the major changes and additions.
-First off, upon the arrival of this update, I will be loading a language file up to our forums. Since I'm not exactly fluent in any other languages, it will be up to the community to edit the language file to their respective languages. I will provide further instructions on how to edit them. But, once they are edited, I will stick them in the mod and people will be able to play in other languages! I know this has been requested a few times, so soon it will be possible.
-Changes to the way hunger works and the way energy works. Long story short, starving will no longer kill the digimon, as it causes some issues on SMP server. Instead, there will be a penalty for a digimon while it is starving. Energy on the other hand has been completely redone. Energy will no longer be lost over time. Instead, intereacting with digimon in various ways will allow them to gain energy, and once their energy reaches its max, they will be able to digivolve. Also done to alleviate some bugs that came with SMP.
-Changes to mounted digimon. The riding glove will now let you directly control the digimon, and they are also much faster, and worth using.(maybe flying mounts will be coming soon after this update?)
-And of course more digimon. I took a count the other day, and there are over 30 new digimon being added this update. Most noticeably all the baby digimon will be added in. It is kind of exciting to say we have knocked out all the baby digimon that exist! and..oh wait..look..its a teaser picture
And many more things, that will be outlined in the changelog once the update goes live.

i spotted a bug when i attack any mob with my hand it makes minecraft crash!
going to need more information than that.
First off, you should have got a crash report, can you upload that in a spoiler please?
Secondly, which MC version were you using, and which Digimobs version. Forge version will matter too. And by mob, do you mean a digimon mob? or a minecraft mob? Have you got other mods installed as well?
See, there are many reasons it could have crashed so we need as much information as possible. Thank you.

Well thanks to plantatasic's mostly useless whining, I finally found the bug causing this issue. Unfortunately I am still working on a fix for it, but I have at least stopped the crashing. So if you were one of the early people who have already downloaded 1.7.2, please redownload to prevent the crashes.

-New item added: Packets
-Packets are used to digivolve baby digimon
-Packets are obtained my smelting down digimon drops(circuits,computer chip, case, etc)
-Packets can also be used to craft HP floppies, MP floppies, and stat chips
-Meat plants nerfed to restore less hunger to players
-All foods regular minecraft foods can now be fed to digimon to restore health,energy, and some weight.
Known Issues
-Pagumon does not digivolve to Gazimon
-Attack AI may not work properly due to a last minute bug. Currently being worked on and will be working for 0.9.1
Any other bugs that do not involve the AI that I am currently fixing are most welcome.

hello I really like this mod but in this new version does not work for me, I load the minecraft but when I enter a map not shown me any digimon
It's believed that the spawn rates have been reduced because of the update to 1.7.2 with the new forge layout. Hopefully in the next update the spawn rates should be increased to counter this effect.
