Great job Zeldo! The chunk loader needs to run the code the player runs on the chunks around it I *think* as from what I know this code grows plants and stuff. Could be completely wrong...
Also is there a ETA for 1.0?? I am waiting for IC2 anyway...

Go into your buildcraft/config folder and look for the file called AdditionalPipes. Open it with Notepad and look for the line:
ChunkLoader.id=254 (Your number will likely say 129 or something in RedPower's range)
Change that number to something else - what you choose depends on what is available, which depends on your other mods. Check the configs for them and see what's not being used.

Same problem as the three others inside the -spoiler-...
I can't create the basic teleport pipe.
I place the items in my crafting grid, it shows in the result box but when I click it the pipes go to my inventory for half a second, then the materials go back to the grid and the pipes in my inventory disappear.
What should I be looking at as the problem? ID conflict? Some magic combo of mod versions?
Same here with rev.31. When i try to craft waterproofed teleport pipes they are there for a mili second and then disappear and i get the normal pipe and the pipe waterproof back.
I have this exact same problem. Using Buildcraft 2.2.5 and add pipes ver 31.
I can craft any additional pipes that uses regular components, like advanced wooden pipes, distro pipes and so on. But the additional pipes that require buildcraft items will not craft.
The teleport pipes fail to craft because they use diamond gears from buildcraft. I can TMI the tele pipes into the server, so the item IDs must be ok. I also can not craft the waterproof tele pipe, again it uses a buildcraft item, the sealent strip. I can also TMI those pipes into the game.
I can place and use all additional pipes, and they work correctly. I just have the problem crafting them in multiplayer. Everything crafts correctly in single player using same client build.
Anyone have any idea on why after adding this mod to the 1.8.1 client you can make TP & WP-TP pipes just fine but when you connect to a server with the same version you can create TP pipes ok but cannot create the WP-TP Pipe?. the item is there in the crafting window showing that client side is working fine but cannot actually create the item on the server?
any ideas as people are eager to use on the Minein server.
(example; it drained 72EU/t (max amount the energy link from the power converters mod can produce per output), and there was a quarry in the end, that will use about 15EU/t from the energy link).
I'm not using teleport power pipes and I see this behavior as well. I am however using power converters, you might look there for your leak. Not saying the tele pipes aren't doing it as well- Don't know cause I'm not using.
Hey, if anyone using Sphax texture pack(or just want Logistic Pipes to work with Teleport Pipes) I made a callobo of the textures and made 128x128 textures for logistic pipes for the Sphax 128 texture pack, with Buildcraft addons by Amon & Ruyan. But im not sure if i can upload them, I dont kno how the rules work, i did work on someone elses work ya know?
It's mostly the issue with the pipes drawing power even when they are not connected.
I don't think the energy link is to blame as I have a quarry running from one, and it will drain exactly 22EU/t (it's being fed 128eu/t packages so there is no bottleneck on the input side.
Power Converters energy link(if that's what your using) states there is always a 10% energy lost during the transition.

Place the contents of the .zip into the minecraft.jar instead - after installing BuildCraft. If you update BuildCraft you'll have to reinstall the additional pipes mod afterwards.

Nono! I'm sorry if I came across as an asshole, I just realized it was the wrong forum post. No offense, and thank you anyway.
<Edit>
That, and I resolved it by just updating everything.
Also is there a ETA for 1.0?? I am waiting for IC2 anyway...
Read upthread just a few posts. Just... just a few. A mere handful. Catch up on the discussion, as it were.

I have both installed, seeing as without Zeldo's pipes buildcraft and minecraft are fully functional.
could you tell me how you changed the ID for the chunkloader?
ChunkLoader.id=254 (Your number will likely say 129 or something in RedPower's range)
Change that number to something else - what you choose depends on what is available, which depends on your other mods. Check the configs for them and see what's not being used.
Thanks so much! Got it working! W00T!

All of logistics pipes 128x128 displayed with all of sphax AP pipes addon textures. I redid each logistic pipe by hand, and added transparent backgrounds after, made separate textures and modified different variables of the block_textures sheet for different installations..

Additional Pipes isn't compatible with 1.0.0 yet.
This is not updated to minecraft 1.0.0 yet, but permission was given to DaStormbringer to post his temporary 1.0.0 version of the mod
