Can't you give us vague code hints which functions to replace with something else, and if the chunkloader mechanics still work the same way?
Since zeldo gave his permission I will post a MC1.0.0 / BC 2.2.x version. BC just updated to 2.2.8 so I want to do some tests and such to see how it works with that version and that everything works, etc. Right now I only have a ssp version and no smp. I will look into the smp counterpart but make no promises to that.
I for whatever reason did not get this email. You may post this HOWEVER, by doing so you assume all responsibility to keep it updated/handle bug fixes for your version. You may also create a new thread for it UNTIL I can get the time to update this myself. (I am not sure when that will be with my current time restrictions, and the provability of moving to 60+ hour work weeks.) Hopefully I will get the time to update it before Christmas, but I am not promising anything. If I do end up updating it will be for version 3, and 1.0 (Or whatever version is out at that time).
Why are you guys saying that it is closed source? It's open source.
Zeldo just so you know that if its possible to make a version that is compatible with BC 3.0.1 for 1.8.1? Im not asking for an update im just saying if you can do it that is because I use IC2 and its not updated yet

Looking forward to it! Please at least link your thread here so I can find it. I filter this board by topics I'vew replied to, to keep it manageable - and I don't want to miss this!

are you gonna do a BC 3.0.x version too?
that would be epic
I am trying this mod with MC 1.8.1 with buildcraft 2.2.5. I have Modloader, Modloader MP, and MC Forge installed as well as the Buildcraft 2.2.5 stuff. These are the only mods, but putting this zip into my mods folder causes this:
Mods loaded: 7
ModLoader Beta 1.8.1
mod_zAdditionalPipes Rev31
mod_BuildCraftBuilders 2.2.5
mod_BuildCraftCore 2.2.5
mod_BuildCraftEnergy 2.2.5
mod_BuildCraftFactory 2.2.5
mod_BuildCraftTransport 2.2.5

I saw someone else with this error, but never saw a resolution. Any ideas on what is wrong and how to fix it?
I did. =D
What I had done (Which caused the error) was putting Buildcraft directing into the Minecraft Jar, and then putting AP in the mods folder. I fixed it by putting both mods in the mods folder. I don't know whether this is how you set up your mods or not, but if it is, this may help.

Thanks. That was exactly the problem. The install instructions were a bit ambiguous. I wonder if all mods can be put in the mods folder (aside from the mod loader mods). IE: I have this timber mod which says to put it into the minecraft jar, but I wonder if it would work in the mods folder instead.
I have posted the updated version here: Teleport Pipes. It will stay up until zeldo release the official version. Any problems with it and such please direct it to that thread.
How does the chunk loading block work? Do I need to put just one somewhere and all chunks everywhere with pipes in them will work? Or do I need to put one on each chunk? If so, how do I tell what the chunk boundaries are?
Place one of these in each chunk that you want to keep loaded at all times.
To see where the chunk boundaries are, press F9. You'll see a blue line with the chunk boundary, and a little red square in the center, which I presume is the middle of the chunk.

I've read through the forum, and the consensus is that I don't have buildcraft.transport installed. But I do, which is the frustrating part. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

Could you post modloader.txt as well?

Actually, how about a better idea: I will go and post in the correct forum. That sounds like a much better idea, am I right?
Wow. Ok, whatever. I guess *I'm* the asshole here for trying to help.
