I DO NOT HAVE OPTIFINE
I've read 20 pages and have found nothing about the messed up textures issue. Such as melons being pipes and beds being pipes. Also many other things such as vines. The additional pipes are pink and crash if something enters a distribution pipe. I do not have optifine or mcPatcher.
Are you using the BuildCraft engines? If you're not, try just dropping the engine part in. You don't have to use it, just have the zip in there. It fixed it for me when I wasn't using the engines.
Ok, using a decompiler I opened the mod_zAdditionalPipes.class file to see the original source code to see if I could find the recipe for the Chunkloading Block. I did a ctrl+f for "craftingmanager" and this was the result
ef craftingmanager = ef.a();
craftingmanager.a(new ul(pipeItemTeleport, 1), new Object[] { "A", Character.valueOf('A'), pipeLiquidTeleport });
craftingmanager.a(new ul(pipeItemTeleport, 1), new Object[] { "A", Character.valueOf('A'), pipePowerTeleport });
craftingmanager.a(new ul(pipeRedStone, 1), new Object[] { "A", Character.valueOf('A'), pipeRedStoneLiquid });
craftingmanager.a(new ul(BuildCraftTransport.pipeItemsCobblestone, 1), new Object[] { "A", Character.valueOf('A'), BuildCraftTransport.pipeLiquidsCobblestone });
craftingmanager.a(new ul(BuildCraftTransport.pipeItemsGold, 1), new Object[] { "A", Character.valueOf('A'), BuildCraftTransport.pipeLiquidsGold });
craftingmanager.a(new ul(BuildCraftTransport.pipeItemsIron, 1), new Object[] { "A", Character.valueOf('A'), BuildCraftTransport.pipeLiquidsIron });
craftingmanager.a(new ul(BuildCraftTransport.pipeItemsStone, 1), new Object[] { "A", Character.valueOf('A'), BuildCraftTransport.pipeLiquidsStone });
craftingmanager.a(new ul(BuildCraftTransport.pipeItemsWood, 1), new Object[] { "A", Character.valueOf('A'), BuildCraftTransport.pipeLiquidsWood });
craftingmanager.a(new ul(BuildCraftTransport.pipeItemsGold, 1), new Object[] { "A", Character.valueOf('A'), BuildCraftTransport.pipePowerGold });
craftingmanager.a(new ul(BuildCraftTransport.pipeItemsStone, 1), new Object[] { "A", Character.valueOf('A'), BuildCraftTransport.pipePowerStone });
craftingmanager.a(new ul(BuildCraftTransport.pipeItemsWood, 1), new Object[] { "A", Character.valueOf('A'), BuildCraftTransport.pipePowerWood });
I think the first one has something to do with pipes, but the second one looks more promising. Problem is, I can't tell what A, B, C, D, r1, r2, r3 etc are, so I can't tell what is being crafted from what. I was hoping you could help me out. All I want to do is make it so that the ChunkLoading Block is crafted from 4 gold ingots instead of 4 iron ingots, because that recipe is used with the SDK's gun mod to make metal parts.
I would rather be able to modify the source code, (I guess that could kinda be like jailbreaking...) because I'm pretty sure that the next version of the Additional Pipes Mod is going to be made for 1.0, but I don't plan on updating from 1.8.1 anytime soon because of all the mods I'd lose.
The source code has been available there's a link in the OP
Teleport Pipes: U.O.P., don't want them, too cheap
Distribution Pipe: RedPower Tubes
Advanced Wooden Pipe: RedPower Filter/Sorting Machine
Advanced Insertion Pipe: RedPower Tubes, won't even send the item at all if chest is full
In no way shape or form does this mod have anything to do with RedPower.
I am using Optifine, along with a ****-ton of other mods, and i am trying to install this one, i am receiving same problem, blocks appearing as pipes, but not really pipes...and the initial pipes themselves are invisible, i have tried installing the HD Texture Patcher (MC Patcher, coorect?) after i have all my mods installed, and it will not let me install the hd part of the patcher to my minecraft. i do not know what to do, mc patcher will not let me instal lthe hd fix :ohmy.gif:, unless there is another mc patcher...anyways, it may be a mod i have, or something, incase it is, these are my mods:
Optifine HD
Rei'sMinimap
SPC
TMI
Millenaire 1.9.2
Tale of Kingdoms
Equivalent Exchange (EE)
EE IC2 addon/patch
IC2
IC2 Advanced Machines addon
BC (all parts)
Minefactory Reloaded (including Power Converters addon)
Spawner GUI
Modloader
Modloader MP
minecraftforge
LogisticsPipes
Additional Buildcraft Objects
Wireless Redstone
Redpower (wiring, lighting, logic)
This mod
Craft Guide
and after your mod, i am probably going to add Elevator mod
I'm not sure why the issue is coming up, I have tried ALOT to repeat it and cannot get it to. Only things I have been able to somewhat link it to is optifine and not having all of BC installed. (I have tried optifine and still don't get the problem though...). Hopefully I will be able to get some better hooks into the next version.

OMG THANK YOU. I have redstone power framework. Would that also cause the problem?
It doesn't even include the chunkloader block, and therefore doesn't have the recipe conflict. Works with 1.8.1.
EDIT: It contains the old version of the distribution pipe. The one where it just sends one item to each of the possible paths with no option to change it. The way I've set up my coal production line...this will not work. Is there ANY way that I could get the best of both of these mods? The better distribution pipes, without the chunkloader block?

In the config file for additional pipes, you can disable the chunkloader block so that it cannot be crafted, only TMId. This prevents all recipe (but not id) conflicts.

I have no ID conflict, or else I would have mentioned it. Where is the config file you speak of? I found this under .minecraft/buildcraft/config/AdditionalPipes

If you're talking about Eloraam's Redpower mod, I really don't think so. I can't be 100% certain because I only use Redpower wiring, lighting and logic. I suppose there is a possibility that it might conflict with one of her other parts, but I doubt it.
Spacetoad just released an update to BC for 1.0 (both versions 2.2.6 and alpha 3.0.2)! Now just gotta wait for the rest of the mods to update to 1.0!
Thanks for the heads-up - I'm there, dude! I share your hope that IC2 and RP2 are soon to follow - though I know that Alblaka and Eloraam will take their time and it will be well worth the wait!

EDIT EDIT: Ok, nvm, working. And please work out visual bugs, thay annoy me greatly.
hey Zeldo, not sure if this has been reported yet, but boats seem to recognize chunkloader lines as an obstacle. I could not drive through the line when they were on the same level as the boat. Just an FYI
Will the Power Teleport pipes ever be fixed? Or maybe I'm using them wrong? They seem to see each other, but no power is ever actually transferred.
I am having the same issue - I've got a trio of combustion engines in my basement, feeding power to a power teleport pipe. I can see the energy inside the pipes so it is working.
I have a quarry nearby I am attempting to power. The power teleport pipe is attached to the side of it. Both are set to frequency 42, the quarry pipe is set "true" to CanReceive. Both show "1" for connected pipes, so they are recognizing each other.
Sadly, no power is being transferred. I let the engines run long enough to exhaust their coolant and I'm still looking at the hazard tape. I do have chunk loading blocks in the chunk where the engines are, and the one where the quarry machine and pipe are. I tried placing a redstone torch next to the quarry, that didn't change anything. I've used the Quarry before (with a PetroGen and an Energy Link) and it's worked fine.
I figured I must be doing something wrong, but for the life of me I cannot see the problem. Can anyone who successfully uses power teleport pipes please tell me what I'm doing wrong and how to correct this?
[EDIT: I figured it out. I was attaching the teleport pipe directly to the side of the Quarry. Watching Direwolf20's video on this add-on, I noticed he had a gold conductive pipe between them, so I tried that. Mission accomplished - I hope my discovery can help others who have the same issue!]
I seem to be experiencing a bit of odd behavior - I'm assuming it's related to the chunkloader:
I have 7 redstone engines powering wooden pipes - 5 of the redstone engines stay at their flashing red status regardless of where I go - but 2 of them always return to being blue/green status.
I'm at a loss of what to do about them - I've even tried placing the chunkloader block right in between the two engines that keep cooling off completely when I go away from them :dry.gif:

Basically, the teleport pipe has to transmit to something. Power teleport pipes don't power machines, they power other conductive pipes - which then power the machine.

Same here with rev.31. When i try to craft waterproofed teleport pipes they are there for a mili second and then disappear and i get the normal pipe and the pipe waterproof back.
did u got a sulution?
I have this exact same problem. Using Buildcraft 2.2.5 and add pipes ver 31.
I can craft any additional pipes that uses regular components, like advanced wooden pipes, distro pipes and so on. But the additional pipes that require buildcraft items will not craft.
The teleport pipes fail to craft because they use diamond gears from buildcraft. I can TMI the tele pipes into the server, so the item IDs must be ok. I also can not craft the waterproof tele pipe, again it uses a buildcraft item, the sealent strip. I can also TMI those pipes into the game.
I can place and use all additional pipes, and they work correctly. I just have the problem crafting them in multiplayer. Everything crafts correctly in single player using same client build.
