Wow, this is really cool. :smile.gif: Nice to also see some of my textures. (I recognize my crappy tree leaves anywhere!)
I wish I could find a nicer way to get the dead tree look across. I'm going to have to give this thing a try.

The last secret wasn't added in yet but you probably saw it. The main problem is getting the running speed tuned correctly, and until that is added I don't know what to do.
I may just scrap the "you picked up an item!" overlay sequence and just use UI elements, but they are a bit more difficult to set up. But I'm certain that they are less likely to cause problems. I plan on doing the same thing to TSG.
Also, I came across a very useful tool that takes DooM WADs and imports them as MCSchematics for the basic layout of levels. For all future missions and episodes, the scale should be as perfect as possible in MC. I won't be removing drops through scripting for now, but instead will rely on creating entirely new entities so that I don't have to use retextured mobs. That way drops should be easy to control.
Yeah I was going to say, for some secrets, you gotta pass Point A and run back towards Point B and get there in time.
Alright good to hear.
...WOW! That should help quite a bit with making the maps!
And ok than, I may wait awhile before making the maps, coz I would rather this toolkit be near finished before making stuff, coz otherwise early levels that we do say Now, will look and play different to levels made Later.

Ha, I would have asked if I knew that the pack was being actively developed! I saw the pack on some other site and it was an old version so I tried searching for it but couldn't find it. Now that I know that your pack is actively developed I'll include a little message on the topic post which should hopefully gain you some traffic!

I've generated the entire level series for Episode 1. Now it is time to go in and add all of the details!

well since it seems you are able to make the maps nice and easily, I guess I'll leave making all the proper Doom maps up to you. I only planned to make them as I didn't know anyone else was planning to. I've got ideas for an adventure craft game, and a few little ideas for one I could do usin the Doom Toolkit, so I'll do them at some stage and leave doom up to you. I look very forward to playing the Doom maps you make though :smile.gif:

Yeah, I took an unmentioned haitus during the summer when work got busy. Also couldn't remember which websites I uploaded the TP to, which made it difficult to update. But now that I made up my mind which packs I want to work on, I have a better idea and plan to stick with for more frequent updates.
Thanks for the mention. :smile.gif: Maybe soon I'll get some more DooM mobs done. XD
Blaze seems suited for a Lost Soul, don't you think? http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Blaze

I hadn't really gotten into which mobs would best suit the ones from DooM yet, but for minecraft that should work perfectly!
Well... if enough people were demanding it I might be forced to. But I really only know a bit of javascript so that would probably take some time. A stand-alone mod would require me to learn java, which I want to do eventually but I'm not quite ready for that!
fyi for those of you who are using the tools right now, you can ask questions about how things work on the IRC channel for #NanoEdge.
Our website is now live! Be sure to check it out over here.
We will be hosting all downloads there, as well as posting our YouTube and Twitter information. It will also host exclusive stuff you won't find anywhere else.
This also avoids the use of adf.ly or adcraft.co, which is always a plus.
going to hellbump this (fitting for doom) just to say that it is amazing this didn't get more love at the time. This is great! Wish it was still maintained (though I haven't checked if it just works with new versions of adventurecraft, which is updated). I'll have to check and post back. If it's not, it's worth fixing
I can't install AdventureCraft because whenever I click install it says "Unable to find the Minecraft bin directory". I've also tried using install via login and it just says "Couldn't connect to Minecraft.net". The reason I said this here is because the AdventureCraft thread is locked now.

Um I a part of nanoedge, I would totally help make a mod for this bro
Yeah you are, but you are working on Pokemobs!
I guess we could do this before I reveal a super secret project...
