Totally great mod, Just reading then seeing the videos and is totally cool.
Wish this mod dont have issues with the most popular mods (BC, IC, Elo mods, MCF)
Suggestion about a way to toggle natural and tech biome generation, or make a INgame system for terraform or make the tech generation begins, then avoid mess with other terrain generation.
Like create some Nanobot dust then spread it in some place or place a Sappling that toss "spores" in a radious turning the default landscape with new techy biome.
Just a idea for improve this lovely mod.
It is compatable with the forge mods, I use the forge mods with it ^^

Hi, i am trying to instal your mod but it don't work. i got a never seen result, could you help.
i did it on a fresh minecraft folder. dropping mod content in ./minecraft/bin/minecraft.jar (i am on linux).
deleting META
installing : modloader from risugami (1.7.3)
then : audiomod
then : automaton 0.5.7
it didn't worked, then i try the same with SDK's modloaderMP after modloader. i got same result that is :

I just got this mod to work with BTW,all of Buildcraft,IC2,Equivalent Exchange, all of Redstone power, and recipe book and I still have loads of block ids left. Ha ha. Im so glad those mods I meantioned except recipe book use MCforge Or I probably would have run out of sprites.
I think there should be a part 3 (or something) to those videos giving info on the mod. Because I'm sure some people are having issues with figuring out the new parts of the mod, even I am having some problems, but that's mostly because I don't wana make a new world to find what's underneath tech biomes xD

pic for this mod are invisible in inventory when i use texture packs and why such a big resource file. besides that awesome i love the little robot worker!!!!
Thats wierd, Im using forge with those and it still runs out of sprites...Ive tried reinstalling a few times and it comes up with the same error, I'll look around on forge.
Well when I installed them all I got were id conflicts that were easy yet very tedious to fix but I got them to play nicely and I have about 60 block ids left

Did you add the agolem to the spawning mobs? because I just made a new world and I saw alot of blocks moving around, and they were the same mobs that you can make by using a blue core on any overworld block, they even drop blue core. Also did you add iron rods as a possible drop of the asliders? Im just wondering. Also It seems that when I install Industrial craft 2 I cant get tech biomes automatically Im guessing it is because of IC2 rubber trees. Luckily thanks to your newer mod update I can make frass and turn trees into bio trees, and I can easily hunt watchers for their power cores. Or use the more recipes mod with spawner gui to get them. Also It seems that with Ic2 installed you cant even use seeds for Tech biomes because it lags/conflicts, but if you make a random new world it would work. I just hope that either the world gen conflicts get resolved or at least you will be able to make the illuminators without need of tech biomes. It may be improved if you used mcforge. But that is just my word of advise.
Maybe instead of making automaton biomes it should be a sperate world of some sort like the aether mod or the nehter where you make a portal and go through it. in there is where you find the robotic world n such. Also it seems to nmany of those sliders spawn. they spawn everywhere!
@Aninon: Cheers! Good to see you didnt gave up on working on this! Also, good luck with the mod, but i guess the minecraft update is coming by tomorrow or so.

@aninon: Awesome news, I am hoping that the 1.8 full update doesnt come out before you update, only because It would be better if all the work you made with the update you worked on was released before 1.8 so that I would have something to enjoy while waiting for my other mods to update.
But On a side note, I do have a suggestion, could you make it so that when you use the B.C.S or the bionic conversion system item on stone It turns it into ancient construct, and maybe even make it so other kinds of blocks would turn into the blocks from the underground cities, or maybe be able to craft them. Oh yeah another idea I have, could you make it so the B.C.S could change glowstone into illuminators, so then like all the other suggestions I have made here, would allow for no need for tech biomes, I suggested this because IC2 messes up tech biomes, make them not spawn. But atleast I can make the B.C.S and make my own, just need illuminators, ancient constructs, and the underground cities' blocks then it would be a good plan, maybe I could even play a survival map and make it all futuristic.

Wow!Astonishing mod,may I suggest adding things like radio towers where you can send signals to any robots in the vicinity.That would be cool!Can't wait until you update for 1.8!
I took the risk and tried to play my old world with the new update. It reseted everything. The world was as fresh as after generating.

And what the stick-trees there are for. And everything.
