i love this mod. once a few bugs are fixed (chests, rotation, etc.) and some new features are added (in-flight redstone should be a big priority) and some balancing is adjusted (3 wood and 3 cobble?) this will be perfect.

No need for chests, we got chest carts
Chest carts pretty much balance it up (3 iron + 1 rail for each chest = balanced enough)
Rotation would be hard and probably double the lag caused by the mod.
^Same goes for redstone.
Don't forget : Moving crafts count as ENTITIES, they cannot interact with blocks and behave like blocks, its IMPOSSIBLE

from what i can tell your doing everything right, i must ask, have you double checked your trying to use the latest version of modloader? if not thats probably the cause
Yea as far as I can tell, you did it perfectly. It's *possible* theres something altering the files..... but it's unlikely. You can double check that zip is still intact by checking the MD5 from the OP against your file using http://www.pc-tools.net/files/win32/freeware/md5sums-1.2.zip. Drop md5sums.exe in the same folder as your zeppelin.zip and type md5sums *.zip. The has should match exactly to the op. If they are the same, it's not a corrupt zip, guaranteed.
Maybe a different java version? Are you using 64 bit?

i love this mod. although i do think it should have something more to it in terms of cost, like a fuel source. or my idea was to make craftable "propellers" that you place on the ship and when the craft was created it would detect how many propellers or blades or somethings there were, then the max speed would be determined hrough some simple division problem with the # of blocks in ship and the# of proppellers. this would make it so ithere is a more intensive process of building your ships [ the bigger ships would need more propellers to even run] so it would make it more realistic. {and if you made it a more complex math problem ore imposed a max working proppellors you could solve the problem of having a super huge ship going unrealistically fast} [ i personally like the more complex math problem solution, cause it solves more problems]

If the end of the file is .cfg, get rid of .cfg and put .txt, then you can edit it.

This is simple but doesn't ruin the feel of the mod:

Harder to craft recipe will come once the mod is no longer beta, since it would suck to lose a rather expensive controller block due to a bug.
