Is it possible to use Zeppelin in multiplayer? I setup a local server on the LAN and enabled the allow flight option in the server config. When I lay out the ingredients in the workbench, it shows the craft controller on the right, but I can't pick it up and take it.
I have ModLoader and Zeppelin installed in the client directory. I tried also installing it in the server .jar but this didn't seem to help.
Entities get displaced, and could potentially fall off when the craft snaps back onto the grid. If you made the craft realign while still an entity itself, that could be avoided. Just a thought.
Whenever a ship rejoins the world, the Zeppelin block becomes unmovable, and drops about 3 of itself every 2 seconds I punch it with my hand and it never goes away.....

first great mod. i love it
ive found a bug where i put down powered rails on my wool for my ship and then triggered the thing and it went invisible and left drops. then i pressed again and the tracks appeared.
its kinda like a dupe bug i suppose.
also can you make it so that minecart tracks stay on the ships coz i had a really cool idea. :smile.gif:

I just wonder if it's possible that your mod (who is actually really good !!) will have Piston, lever, button, repeater, ,tnt activation by redstone, and full redstone system support when the ship is active ?
Will it be possible to have Submarine ?? and "Submarine/aircraft" ship ??
And last one : If Optimisation can lead to support a ~6000 blocks ship without lag (or too much lag) in SMP ?

also, I dont know if its suggested before, but how about adding an option where you can throw out a ladder while you are flying, so you can climb down to the ground without having to park the ship all the way down
and maybe an option where you can actually fly the ship, where you go into F5-view and you can fly the ship with the normal wasd keys.
Ok, I've been messing around with Zeppelins in the Aether, and I've found that the clipping bug happens more often in the following two situations:
1. When my craft is not aligned to the grid (rotationally especially)
2. When my craft is close to complex terrain
Honestly I think these clipping bugs are just hiccups in physics processing caused by the huge number of aerwhales all over the place. Man I really need to start killing those guys.
I love the mod, but i have some request to be considered, i am currently using keavator's slope and ceiling stairs mod along with the CCTV mod. the zeppelin mod is not compatible it crashes ever time with these mods. Similar to the better than wolves mod that allows for the same blocks to be used to create more shapely craft the blocks would rotate and the fences used for railing do as well. i also noticed that items such as beds, red stone, and dispensers disappear and are useless when the vehicle is active.
my request is if you could make the control block not recognized these items but still allow the items to be placed on the vehicle and used. similar to way bedrock can be built on but not altered. being able to place beds and red stone creations would be awesome and add more creative power to the mod. not to mention flying house with out having to constantly disable the craft. if this is not the case and such items can be used then i have made mistakes in useing the mod. but the angled block rotating would still be a problem.
I don't have a Mac to test with, but it *should* be the same as windows. Try only installing ModLoader first, without Zeppelin, make sure that works.
Fresh minecraft.jar, drop all the modloader class files in. Delete META-INF. Test minecraft.
There should be a modloader.txt log in your minecraft folder if it works (and probably if it doesnt). Make sure it contains no errors.
Once that works, put the Zeppelin.zip file in your minecraft/mods folder (not in the jar!).
Test again, make sure modloader.txt shows that mod_zeppelin was detected. Note any errors and post them here.
I think I may have found a problem with what you told me to do.
On Macs, or at least on mine, .zips don't download the same way they do on Windows. My computer automatically turns any .zip file into a folder upon downloading, which is called mod_Zeppelin-client. I never see any sort of .zip file.
I'm going to try renaming the folder Zeppelin.zip, just like I renamed the Minecraft folder as Minecraft.jar folder. The modloader part has worked with no errors, so I'm going to try that and come back here when I've tested it.
EDIT: Perfect! I just have to change the config so that stone will work and I can launch my flying school bus!
As soon as you iron out the big bugs and add smp, Notch needs to add this to the game. Once a server versions out, Im going to use it for an SMP series! Im also glad its so compatible. Cant wait for smp!
