"I read the OP but..." my question wasn't in the FAQ. It's probably been answered somewhere, but I'm not going to read 329 pages to find it.
How does this work technically? Does it use some of Minecraft's existing objects (entities, blocks, chunks, etc) to handle the moving blocks, or does it add new objects (like "moving block groups" that are saved, loaded and rendered independently of any existing code)?
(sorry I couldn't think of a better way to word the second question :tongue.gif: )
It's entities. Each zeppelin also has it's own world in it, so most of blocks on zeppelin work like in main world.
I'm waiting for this mod SINCE 1.2 and it didn't work for me.
I installed properly, i have modloader, but when I right click it shows an error screen and tells me to re install.
I did everything right.
Anything missing?

Yes you are missing something. You didn't follow one line in installation instructions. And you didn't read the sentence in bracket right after download link.
As far as I know, every block becomes an entity which is connected to one main zeppelin-entity, similar to how the Enderdragon is made of several entities.
When any mod adds a new texture, ModLoader puts it in the first empty slot in terrain.png.
But in ModLoader for 1.0.0 there is a bug, that it thinks that the slot with dragon texture is empty.
yeah... the people who are making the front serverd plan to put it on there, I think because it is a client mod then they are making everyone download it before they can get on, honestly I do not know, they seem to be very secretive, well, they just have not told anyone about how they did it. They might just be wating around until you make it work on SMP or something, I think that they might have done it before so here is a link to the forum sight that they let you sign up, go ahead and ask them how they did it but they will probably will not tell you, I do not know why...

Ah yes, they plan to have Zeppelin when SMP is released, they don't have SMP Zeppelin yet. They will probably be one of the first servers to have it though.Fixed the 'soupy' feeling when moving about a ship that is moving forward and rotating. Also should fix some of the clipping through blocks issues.
There is a SERIOUS ISSUE WITH THE MOD!! When i try to edit the controls, because many of us use mac laptops, the control gui is broken!!! the DONE sign blocks some options!!!!!

Ok, so I downloaded the mod correctly (I hope) but whenever I use the craft controller things that the mod adds, it always says it found a craft size of 1, which is the controller itself.
I checked to see if it was the materials I was using, but no matter what I put the controller on, it kept finding only the controller.

Could you post some pics of the craft and maybe show us what your config file says? That would really help.

Im loving this mod so far. However i have found a few bugs. The first bug is when im flying around for a long time sometimes the airship controller block will disappear and then minecraft crashes. When i come back the ship is gone. I back up my worlds though because of this. The other bug which im pretty sure your aware of is the blocks glitching when you go to fast and it makes you slide through the ships walls. Or even when its flying and you walk around your ship and it makes you slide a certain way. Also it makes you go really fast when you walk around on the ship when it is moving. I can't wait for more updates. Your doing a really good job.

If there is anything that I have to say is that water does not stay on the ship ( very well known of course, that might just not capable as you could move oceans if it was a usable block, but that is not the point I am trying to make ) when I make a redstone powered tnt cannon and make my ship move and then activate the cannon, right before the tnt explodes the game will crash, I can get back on to the game again but then half of the ship will be gone ( mainly because the water does not stay :tongue.gif: ). I have not played with the zeppelin mod because I have been playing around with the adventure mod for a while. or has this problem been fixed
and just to annoy you, does this work with SMP yet ( please don't respond to that lol )

We had the cannon powder mod, which really neat for Zeppelin since the explosion it generated only provided the shockwave.
Also...SDK's gun mod has e cannon block that also generates shock wave by feeding it regular TNT.(although the shockwave didnt appear on an active craft so kinda a moot point, but it would be neat if it worked)

@Tito_I_J: No, it's not for multiplayer yet.
But you can play Pass It On with this mod.
There's currently a bug in SMP where whenever anyone asks about it, I forget to work on it and play Minecraft instead.
