Currently, this mod is causing issues with the Aether 1.02, as the block ID 195 is used for the Quicksoil Glass ID. I'm not sure what you can change it to to make it compatible again, but it is not compatible as of current.
I changed mine to 200. Might not work for you depending on what other mods you have installed, I don't use many that add new blocks.

okay wow, this is amazing, i have been playing with this for quite some time now and i must say the idea, the implementation so far and the code is a work of art. i know you are working as much as you can afford to commit and i must say i love your planned features list. if you are looking for any more suggestions though i have a few ideas. once you've culled your current list of course. these might be a ***** to code but once they have been the possibilities become insanely massive, here are my ideas for you to add to the list if you wish:
1. a destruction algorithm, so for example if it gets hit by a arrow the block breaks and falls off, or is close to an explosion all part in the radius fall off, great for SSP but imagine the possibilities in SMP! epic **** battles with TNT cannons and arrows flying everywhere!
2. (with idea 1 coded this might be easier to implement) i think that if a block is on fire it should stay on fire and you can have fires on your ship (wooden and other burnable materials on the ship anyway) so you would need a crew to repair and damage control, as we both know, fire is lethal on board ships.
3. another idea that might make this mod 4333608976 times more amazing in SMP is a radius in which the controller block is effective, so the conditions for being able to steer the ship are you have to be on it and close to the wheel, great for having a captain at the helm and a crew to fight the battle :biggrin.gif:
i look greatly forward to seeing the current items on the upcoming list implemented and hopefully you think my ideas worthy. much respect for your innovation, coding skill and motivation. thank you enormously! you are a legend!

Did you even try some of that stuff?
Attacks DO break blocks off from crafts (Except the control block).
BTW i made a really simple signature using the achievement generator :
also, as a few more cool things for SMP if a ship (obviously includes skyship aswell) has lost a certain amount of blocks (a % of the total would be the best value [bigger ships are harder to get]) they start uncontrollably losing altitude, eg. boats go under or skyships fall out of the sky after sustaining enough damage :biggrin.gif:
also perhaps it would be possible to make the controller block emit an item "steering wheel" or something of the sort and the captain has to be wielding it in his hotbar in order to command the ship. this would be great for passing command between crew members and would solve what im sure is a problem you are considering for the SMP version. this would also add to the ship/skyship battles like for eg. once a ship has been boarded you can assassinate the captain and take over the ship but also the captain would be neigh defenceless because he cant move too far away from the control block AND he cant wield a sword or bow etc.!

That steering wheel idea is pretty nice. And maybe a special "sabotage" version of it that allows you to control all ships, so you can sneak into enemy ship and hijack it.

This is probably one of my favorite mods, it easily competes with nearly anything else out there. For right now I won't annoy you with feature requests or suggestions, or pester you to get this released for SMP, but I would like to compliment you on getting 120 pages of comments in just over a month. Good show old boy!
My only complaints, as have, I'm sure, been pointed out before, are really about certain blocks not working while moving. I am totally fine with chests and furnaces popping their contents to the floor, because I put fences around their tops, so they just drop into the fences, and stay while I fly. Also, Simple Chests, or whatever those are called, can in fact fix this problem (though I don't know if they are compatible), by simply setting the chest absorption-thingy to 1, which will reinsert the items into the chest once it reattaches.
However, the beds are really quite annoying. I had this lofty idea that, maybe, I could use my airship as a home, not just a vehicle. I don't need much, and I constantly find enough coal and redstone to keep me in maps. However, whenever the beds disappear, they unhook the spawn point, as well. So, if I die by falling or mauling, I get sent back to my original spawn point, which is usually on a different continent entirely.
You may not be able to fix this without mucking with the bed class, but I thought I'd voice my concern anyway.
There probably won't be SMP support until after the mod is more polished. SMP adds a lot of complexity to the development cycle, especially if you are still changing everything around, so it's usually faster to put it in near the end.
So are you guys saying this will become a plugin or that itll work on multiplayer servers but everyone will have to download it to play on the server?
You have to download it yourself. That's the same for any mod that introduces non-vanillia content. Maybe in the future servers will be able to automatically upload mod packs and texture packs specific to the server, but for now it's all manual.
Suggestions?
2. If the Ship crashes above a certain speed into blocks or the controller block is destroyed with arrows, the ship blows up like TNT.
what.
4. A block with a compass texture on it so it can be placed in the exact center of the ship and will show the direction the ship is travelling in
Actually thats a great idea. It will allow the player to know when their crafts blocks are in-line with the world grid so they will know when it is safe to reconfigure the craft with the rest of the world.
Also I think the installion problem has to do with my modloader as that pony guy said because I just tried to install the CMT mod which need modloader and it still didn't work
That is the first thing I try. I do it manually, but it won't work for some reason. I dunno if I'm just placing the stuff in the wrong place or something, or maybe it's because that .txt file thing isn't there.

If you've deleted META-INF, and then installed the mods in correct order, bug might be the Java. Try updating your java to see if it works - I had the same problem with infitools mod.
