I don't know if this is needed, or even wanted, but I have some ideas for a Silent mob. Basically, when you see them, they're normal for a while, but after a few seconds of looking they get hostile. One could borrow some files from the Elemental Arrows mod, and make it so that the Silence would fire soundless, invisible Lightning Arrows. And if you turn around, they just disappear. I don't know, just a thought. I have a skin for anyone who wants it. It's not top-quality, but I think it's an OK base.
My friend derek and I used maya, Cinema4D and after effects to do the visuals. The muscic was composed by filtering and distorting the original music through many MIDI filters and synthesizers
Just wanted to say that this will be the greatest mod ever made for us Whovians. I back your mod to the fullest.
Also, quick question for the creators of the mod; would you mind once this is in Beta and SMP-compatible that I could use this in my series, The Age of Steel (You can either click that or click my signature.)? It's still in the first episode's planning phase, but once this mod is made I think it will improve the series.

We figure it will have a regenerating bar, and would be useless if you drain it completely. Otherwise it SHOULD be fully functional.

May be required to damage new mobs(daleks)- more likely just to push mobs backwards aka snowball. Effects on Mechanical and electronic Mobs are Only possible at VERY close range (1-3 blocks) (Playtest first)
Activates any redstone powered device without redstone (aka pistons dispensors etc.)
Range of basic effects (powering redstone/devices normally powered by said dust) 10 Meters.
Disable power on redstone
If applying sonic stimulation to redstone for to long of time with out proper technique (pressing control?) the redstone will will "pop off" do to sonic vibrations slowly dislodging the redstone by keeping a constant frequency
It can activate creeper timers and can detonate Tnt by using the right combo of buttons (ctrl, alt, or e)

I cant imagine the onslaught of hate from the dedicated fans of the show that want this mod to be as accurate it can be.
The Bad Wolf is rose tyler, she took the time vortex in her mind and scattered the words bad wolf through time as a warning. It came up in season 4 only because the walls of the universe broke down and she was sending a warning to the doctor and the tardis knew it.
I dont see how bad wolf signs could lead to the pandorica as they are totally unrelated things. But I do like your creativity :biggrin.gif:

Well let me explain why it shouldnt
The pandorica was a weak plot line with gaping story holes.
Thats just it the pandorica was a part of a story and serves no real purpose beyond that story, so including it int he mod would be a waste of coding and jar space.
Sure it would make the fanboys and fan girls all giggly and googly eyes. But that the only thing adding it in would do. It has no real purpose and its meant to be a jail for the doctor based on the misconception that he would blow up the universe. To include that into the mod as a "loot container" just doesn't make sense.
Lets not forget that the pandorica was destroyed and wiped from time after all it was from amy's memory in the first place.
Now onto the silence,
They should be included but not in the way most people are suggesting, again here are my reasons why:
The silence arent really the bad guys, well they are but they have their reasons which is true to the heart for them.
The silence isnt the species with the tentacle fingers, the Silence is the religious order, we still dont know the name of the creatures
Your idea about killing them with lightning wouldnt work because electricity is the lifeline for the creatures of the silence, They feed off all kind of energy in the environment. To try and kill them with a lightning bolt would be like giving an athletic performance enhancing steroids.
The creatures of the silence wouldn't really have a real point in being there as they think the doctor is dead. If they are included I feel that they should only encounter the doctor in a questish type thing. Where they arent the main adversaries.
Its just really hard to include things that have been a major story line in the show into the mod because in the show theve already been defeated as the villans of 2 years and in the mod they really serve no purpose but for show.

The Doctor doesnt believe in killing, hence why he only has the sonic screwdriver. His exact words to describing the screwdriver are : "Doesnt wound, doesnt maim and doesnt kill."
While I agree this should be included in as a additional feature I dont think the doctor should be the one to have it.
The laser screwdriver only really has 3 purposes. Kill, Age people older, and Age people younger.
As for the laser screwdriver being an actual tool like the sonic, I have a hard time believing that that lazer which kills Captain jack over and over would be ideal for using on a computer to fix something. Its more likely it will blow the thing up.

As I understand it, there will be a SMP version out at some point in the future, but what we are focusing on at the moment is getting developers onto the team and well.... developing the mod.
A modification of this magnitude takes alot of time. As an example look at the Aether Mod. That took nearly a year to finish the SP version and they dont yet have a SMP version either.
The thing about mods, is everytime Mojang updates minecraft mod developers have to majorly rewrite code as large parts of it get obfuscated. This also takes time
What sageshadow and myself were discussing, is when we have a multi-functional version of the mod working and ready, we will be opening a limited slot group of testers for the Alpha version of the mod. This will be around mabey 5-10 people in this testing group.
A small group of testers would eliminate any need to rush out a update to the dev mod if something happened. You could remain in the same pace of development you prefer and not worry about having an angry mob rushing toward you screaming that things dont work. Or telling you to hurry up and release more features.

See, the idea is that your memory gets wiped of what they look like. But we can't really wipe the player's memory, can we? So we'd have to make it so that you can't see them, and the tally marks appear. Maybe add a little frame skip, and that's the equivalent of losing your memory for a few seconds.

It wasnt on my channel untibecau a week ago becase of copyright issues with my monetized videos. I cant help if people steal my content but the fact s that i havr the original project filed and the audio progression levels. a

At the moment, we are going to have the TARDIS link to another dimension (like the Nether), and, if we can, make it so that we can see inside of it. We would make it teleport you to somewhere else in the world, but we couldn't figure out a way to make it work right (if you want to know more about ways we thought of to do this, read through the entire topic, because I'm not explaining it). If we figure out how to actually make it bigger on the inside, we will jump on that chance like a dog on a hamburger.
