Yeah,i didn't enjoy not having electricity...also i preordered deus ex HR and had to wait a whole extra week to play it,even though i had already downloaded it :sad.gif:

Four skill minigame ideas have been developed as well as some of the specialized crafting tables. These minigames will be spread across each skill. The minigame names are (or for atleast right now:
1. Spacebar Tap
2. Pouring
3. Memory
4. Bar Break
Here are the list of skills along with their minigames are:
1. Mining : N/A
2. Fishing : N/A
4. Farming : N/A
5. Cooking : Pouring
3. Herbalism : Pouring
4. Brewing : Pouring
5. Explosives : Memory
6. Trapmaking : Memory
7. Engineering : Spacebar Tap
8. Gunsmithing : Spacebar Tap
9. Forging : Bar Break
10. Blacksmithing: Bar Break
On SSP all skills will be available to you. You can practice anything you wish in order to see which skill you might want to use most while on the server. In SMP all skills will be able to be trained but only up to a certain point. It's then that you choose 2 skills that you wish to specialize in, after selecting the skills you will be able to train only those 2 skills further. This may not seem like much but each skill will have 3+ subskills each equaling each other in total experience needed. so this would make for 6+ subskills on top of all the other skills you can train to the experience cap Making a total of 18+ skills you can train. This method of player development is meant to force players to interact with one another (and to reduce the amount of unnecessary PvP), as well as support an economy.
Each skill will have achievements and perks along their development and you can only get some perks in a specific way. For example the level cap on every skill tree will be 99 and only one area can then be trained to 100. Getting a subskill trained to 100 will then unlock a specific perk. that is just one example however.

As of right now we have developed the deserts of the Wastelands. deserts will be generated on a mass scale and have features like: Dunes, mountains, plateaus, pond oasis', and stream Oasis' . The type of blocks that will generated will mostly be sand, baked soil, stone, fresh water. There will some variations in this to help skill trainers find that special material be it plants or some sort of exotic fish.
In addition to the things here we have a special desert dungeon which will remain a surprise until someone stumbles upon one in our first patch.

How about the dungeon is a vault deep underground where you have to climb down the ladder in a vertical, 1x1 tunnel to get to it?

BTW: do you plan to release a terrain generating tech demo? you know, like, with nothing but just the terrain gen.
Once terrain gen is completely done for all the biomes, the plan is to release the first patch.
