Hey guys, I've actually been looking to get Pokemon mod up and running. I don't have the coding know-how at the current time, but I can model like a fool. I've been looking to just add a few pokemon as a mob mod lately but I'd really like to be able to do a larger mod, something which could literally transform Minecraft into your own personal 1st person Pokemon experience. Biome-specific pokemon spawns, pokeballs, a pokemon storage system, etc.
Anyway, here's what I've been working on so far, just trying to get the models set up and I'd be interested in helping out if you guys are looking for a modeler:
well there is going to be alot of mobs so we probably will need quite a few people to do the skins ok cam can you add him to the list also i think we should all have a dropbox account each so we can share all the skins and when swimy completes mewtwo it would be alot easier and quicker than emailing it.
what do you think cam
Any idea how the coders would be able to collaborate on one project? I haven't tried programming mobs yet, but that doesn't mean I can't "learn on the job".
Love the idea and I can code java quite well (Doing it since 4 years now). So if you need an assisting coder or something like that just pm and I'll try to help you out :smile.gif:

Well claw just mentioned a dropbox account that would allow you guys to share what your working on w/o emailing. :biggrin.gif:

That could work, except if we all work on something at the same time. Then there's conflict. Also, a changelog would be necessary (not that it's a problem, changelogs are important).
my idea is that we all have a dropbox account each then me and cam make a text doc for each of you with your name on and inside it will be your tasks example:
up-a-notch
make skin for npc
or something like that and when you have completed it (you will have a folder each) you will put it in your folder in dropbox and check it on your list
Well people who aren't actually programming this mod wanna give us some feedback? I'd really appreciate some. 's for you if you give good feedback. :smile.gif:
