I don't normally comment on Mods (just download them) but this mod looks *amazing*. Kind of like a...a... I dunno.. a lighter, less confusing.. more.. low-tech version of industrialcraft. I love it! I especially love the chisel and decorative blocks!
I think you should see if you could work on the Aether project because you guys kinda have the same ideas
You think so? I'm a big fan of the Aether project, it looks fantastic.
I have the new version ready and working for 1.4_01, but I want to release it together with the 1.5 version.
You should ask them if you could add obsidian tools in with there Aether and all the other stuff because if you made your mods together then it would be the best mod ever made ever

I don't think it would really fit the theme of the Aether. Perhaps we may be able to work on compatible versions when they are both done.
Looks interesting, Downloading 1.4_01 and will test it out, A bit psyched it looks very very good. I cant wait for the finished thing.

So I tried to run minecraft with this mod and I believe it conflicts with one or more of the mods I already have. Either iChuns Portal Gun mod or SDK's Gun mods. /sigh
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Its not flaming when its true, I should be able to speak my mind on my own thread, warn status 10%? Thats just a badge of honor.
look nice but i first download when it come to 1.5 and hope soon it come and plzz can you show how to build a drill and it will be nice if you can make a video..
There's a file called Recipes.png that comes with the download. Pretty much all the new recipes are there.
When will it be updated to beta 1.5.01 or just 1.5 cant remember which but one of those because i am really excited to try this but i have the newest update.

I need to wait for MCP to update first, like most mods.
I think its quite call that you have the Etherium, but it does seem like quite a cheat. Also y would u want it because if you got fell down one of those hole in bed rock that lead to nothing, then you would never be able to get out because you cant die.

People seem to be mistaken as to what Etherium Armour does. You can still take damage while wearing it, but it is greatly reduced, and the armour itself does not wear down.
UPDATE:
Posting this update here today, to save the first post a little. Today's update isn't any extra mod content, either.
Today is an expansion texture pack: The Glimmar Pack, so called because it is an extension of Glimmar's Steampunk pack.
This is my house, with the Glimmar Pack enabled. Let me give you a quick tour, showing off some of the new textures.
This is the entranceway. Here you can see some Phosphorus Torches and some Engraved Brass Blocks, as well as a few items.
Here we have a couple of Chemical Furnaces and Nuclear Reactors.
And upstairs are a couple of Steam Furnaces.
We also have some Slate Tiles and a few more Engraved Blocks.
On the roof is a Brass Tree, as you can well see.
Back on the floor is a pool, containing a few Lamp Blocks.
And around the edge of this pool are some Electric Lamps.
Finally, here is a short Tesla Circuit I built just to show off the new textures.
Wow everything looks really cool except for the Nuclear Reactors ... old ones looked much better or maybe the new ones look better in game, but from the ss they they seem kinda dull :|
To each their own, I suppose. The Reactors were somewhat difficult to texture, since white is an awkward colour to shade correctly. I wanted to give them a slightly menacing look, and they look even more so when activated.
I feel I have to share my suffering with you all. I found a serious bug with the Spanner, and have spent the last 4 hours attempting to fix it. Having entirely re-coded the Spanner, I believe it works now.

I go by the rule that professional presentation is almost as important as content. Almost.

1. I googled the character's name and found a decent picture.
2. I'm by myself at the moment, but may or may not look for a team later on.
I need to wait for MCP to update first, like most mods.
I'm pretty new to it all, but I've had quite a lot of experience in other C syntax languages before now, so it's not too difficult to pick up.
Also, I'm working on a bonus pack for this mod in the run up to the 1.5 adaptation. I hope to reveal some of it soon.
I must have answered this question about 6 times now, and I will do it one more time:
I cannot update until the Minecraft Coder Pack does. Once that is updated, I will do my best to release a 1.5 version as soon as possible.
i'm gonna say... surpass.

i will have to give it a try when it is updated
