Since installing Somnia I no longer appear to get hungry. Just got it today '[1.2.5] Somnia v24' and it works fine. I don't really mind not getting hungry. But thought I should mention it. GREAT mod by the way.

Just keep waiting your hunger will go down sooner or later
Also make sure you don't put your mode on "Peaceful"
Question:
Does it really take long? if I have Minecolony on? 'cause my hunters roam at night and I have a large population of villagers..
The speed depends on a lot of different factors, so it's hard to say. I don't play with very many mods myself, but I know some people use Somnia with IndustrialCraft, and they seem to enjoy it.
Why not give it a try and see? I'd be curious to know what kind of speed multiplier you get with Somnia and Minecolony.
Hi, I can't get the bed to work in the Nether. I added -1 to the valid worlds list in the config, with and without a space after the comma; but every time I try to sleep in a bed in the Nether, it blows up.
I only have a couple of other Forge mods and the Smart Moving Mod installed. Is there something I'm doing wrong?
Oh, drat. That feature doesn't work if you're using Minecraft Forge. I'll see if I can find a way to fix this in the next release. In the meantime, manually copying the contents of the Somnia ZIP file into minecraft.jar should fix it. Let me know if it doesn't.
Edit: I'll save you the trouble. It doesn't work. I'll see if I can come up with a fix.
I don't know if you've heard of the mod Mystcraft or not, but basically what it does is it adds an item that can generate custom worlds with custom parameters. So you can get a mushroom biome only w/ green fog, etc.
Sonmia doesn't appear to work with this, probably because it uses a custom dimension system. It'd be nice, though, if you could into having compatibly with it.

It will be possible once I get a specific feature added that lets you configure which worlds/dimensions allow sleep.
im guessing there is going to be no SMP? it world be super cool manly because i want to get it on bukkit
Please refer to the FAQ.
Probably not.
Sure. I've added it to my to-do list.
Download and enjoy!
That option already exists. Just disable the mod.

Unfortunately, a fix is going to be more complicated than I thought. I will have to submit a new patch to Minecraft Forge.

Unfortunately not.
