You should be able to become a half-blood somehow, and depending on a who you are descendant from you gain advantages (and disadvantages). Maybe be able to pick your godly parent from the beginning? Anyway thought it might be cool. And maybe add pegasi?

That would require more than 1 coder and wouldn't be so much of a mod more adventure.

Please make the boss let of a hit until it dies and more of a get in close hit him then run away (maybe zeus makes lightning all around him or poisedon sends a wave hades sends zombies and skeletons? So more like a special move type hard boss! that would be awesome)

1. It is laggy placing water with poisedons trident making it almost useless.
2. The weapons are a bit to overpowered here is what i think it should be:
Zeus's bolt:
Right click to throw lightning (enchanted) counts as 1 use.
Left click to hit and cause 9 damage.
Has 1500 uses.
Poisedons trident:
Right click to send a wave (enchanted) counts as 1 use.
Left click to hit and cause 9 damage.
Has 1500 uses.
Hades key:
Right click to spawn 1 skeleton om your side (enchanted) counts as 1/2 uses for the fact you could create armies on your side maybe the minimum is 5-10? then make the use 1.
Left click to cause 8 damage. (Not as strong but special is better)
Has 1500 uses.
Since nothing much is out thats all.

I think we'll keep the number of uses relatively low and the power somewhat high, because we want one of the driving forces to find more demigods/temples/etc to be the overpowering need for Ichor in order to use the celestial items (they have NO bonus over steve's fist when broken!). Plus they've each got their own niche- Zeus' blade is weapon, Poseidon's trident is less of a weapon, etc.
Also, the lag with water is solved, but I'm trying to make it so that it doesn't destroy any blocks and places the water intelligently the same as a bucket. (who knows, might end up just extending bucket.class. :tongue.gif:)
I'll update once it figures out how to actually place water. :smile.gif:
are the temples going to be a one time thing and all you have is walk more and find another one away
or are the temples going to be able to fight the gods multiple times and that is the only temple for that god
wait idea !!! when you defeat the gods the exlpode destroying part of the temple and they regen slowly and once their healed you can fight the god again(just an idea kind of changes the concept though :/ )

Yeah, I'm working on that issue. In this release it's just making basic checks, I forgot to add a simple line ( & Block.getdatavalue != 0) but that will be fixed in next release. Also, water will be flowing. :smile.gif:

hey i cant see the lighning bolt nor the other stufs.. al i can see is zues blade and poseidons trident... in my too many items
I have no idea how too many items works, but there's only the blade, trident, marble, and granite right now.
I doubt I'll have time to work on it today, but hopefully in the next day or two I'll have the blade and trident acting like they should be, with Hades Key available as well.
A few things I found when i was testing. One, the "broken" weapons never took durability damage:

Poseidon's trident:
Plus, Poseidon's trident does place water immediately, but the water block is invisible until a few seconds later.
In this pic, I just placed a water block. as you can see, there are splashes indicating that I'm in water, but there's no water in the hole:

Actually, the broken items *aren't* supposed to take damage. However, they're no more useful than Stevie's tree-punching fist. :wink.gif:
edit: the reason behind this will become clear a bit further in.
Also, I'm working on the water. If you place it other ways, it does render immediately- I'm not sure why it doesn't render when placing it down like that.
With the newer (but bugged) checks I'm putting in it seems to lag like that. :smile.gif:

Also, medusa was killed by Perseus, so I think it will be more appropriate to name medusa into gorgon, but you already have gorgons so... oh well ._.
If you'll add minotaurs... DAEDALUS' LABYRINTH FTW (sorry)
Since you have the siren from the odyssey.. Add other mobs! Such as hmm circe! scylla, charybdis.etc
