still getting bugs with Zeus's blade making lightning. Poseidon's trident creating water on right click is almost done- working on making those uses the damage instead of blocks destroyed. :smile.gif: Also it will destroy ANY block above the one that you click on if there is one there. Be wary and only right-click on a block when you want water right on top of it!
PoseidonTridentEnchanted.class file in download has been replaced, re download and install to use the new and improved Poseidon's Enchanted Trident!
note: it's supposed to make still water. Don't destroy a block around it/etc if you want it to stay still. :wink.gif:

yep. I've a friend that helps me out when I'm stuck (and vice versa) but atm it's just me. I've been pretty busy with school and stuff though, hence all the delays. Also, I was a bit overwhelmed by obfuscated code and shied away from modding..now that I have MCP set up AND understand how to use it things are going waay faster!

Also, I'm pretty sure that's one of the reasons causing the lag in placing water (which I'm working on.)

Ok thanks for telling me about the laggy water and the reason i want flowing water is still water is kinda... cheating because you can't normally get it. So should i start making a custom map? Hmm its quite different on a mac it has some instructions on rigusami's forum or somthing but i know that you have to go to librabry or somthing and change or add in a couple of lines... This is rigusami's instructions:
Macintosh:
1) Go to Applications>Utilities and open terminal.
2) Type in the following, line by line:
cd ~
mkdir mctmp
cd mctmp
jar xf ~/Library/Application\ Support/minecraft/bin/minecraft.jar
3) Outside of terminal, copy the class files into the mctmp directory.
4) Back inside terminal, type in the following:
rm META-INF/MOJANG_C.*
jar uf ~/Library/Application\ Support/minecraft/bin/minecraft.jar ./
cd ..
rm -rf mctmp
Tryed out the alpha, pretty stupid recipies. make you get the yellow stuff from an ore.. not dirt :/
it's an ALPHA.. I want it to be as accessible as possible so that you don't have to go play for twenty minutes just to help me alpha test this.
This isn't a full release, it's not even in beta- it's not really out right now for fun...unless you like testing that is.
edit: no worries, once the actual mod comes out it will be difficult to actually find the items, much less keep a stock of them.

HE HASN'T RELEASED MOBS OR TEMPLES! To make the things, go into the Ancient_Greece thing you downloaded then go into "Recipies+showcasing" then look how to craft the things. P.S. Poisedons trident makes a water with right click.

I was getting a blackscreen, reinstalled it, and now im freezing at done loading. I thought that it might work differently on a mac because everyone else seems to be getting it work, and im installing it properly..
Anyway, gonna try it again when the next update comes up

you have the latest version of Risagumi's ModLoader installed, right? this mod won't work without it. :smile.gif:

After that I'm debating whether or not to add Temples, then mobs, and make temples spawn chests in them that hold their respective items, OR make mobs that drop the items and have them spawn in the temples? Gzm, what do you think?
also, which would be preferred for the final version?
(Also, we could have them drop the items rarely, and more ichor, and then have items more commonly found in the chest (relatively- temples will still be very rare and only one item *may* be in the chest)

Hmm its quite different on a mac it has some instructions on rigusami's forum or somthing but i know that you have to go to librabry or somthing and change or add in a couple of lines... This is rigusami's instructions:
