I've gotten a lot of it coded, but I have yet to test it as MCP V1.3 didn't want to compile it and V1.5 is not yet out (as to my knowledge). Also I am busy for the weekend, so earliest it would be available is Tuesday, Pacific time. :smile.gif:
However a beta test should be out soon after MCP V1.5 comes out.

That would be epic! However you'll need to talk to Gzm, I'm the coding area. Looking at the textures folder we've got quite a bit done, but I don't know how many of the planned mobs he's done- try sending him a PM. :smile.gif:

Note: MCP is still not updated. It will probably be another few days depending on if they're working over the weekend or not (probably not, because of Portal 2! ) as Notch added a good bit of new content. (which I personally really like! :tongue.gif:)

Just a few more days, and I'll post screenies once I get testing going. I'll leave balancing (block gen, item damage, etc) up to you guys to a certain extent. Eventually I'll move things either to a properties file or to mod options API (depending on compatibility and what gmz wants) so things are more customizable- and so it's faster to test. :smile.gif:

not really, this is going to be SSP at first, dunno about SMP, depends on how complicated it could be.

But I really do mean just a few more days now. I've FINALLY figured out absolutely everything I need to make MCP work now (I've never used it before.. it's confusing. ) and I've also got a lot of my senior research essay out of the way, and doing homework, and doing driving lessons, and homework, and not having time to even have a life. (<-- me about two weeks ago)
But, yeah. I've also found an AWESOME reference mod and that is really helping speed things along with MCP coding. :smile.gif:
The benefits of MCP means that while it may take a few days to week to update, it will be far easier to update the code. Additionally, Notch is going to let modders who have signed up with him have access to unobfuscated code, meaning updates could be ready when the patch hits..

Coded basic Celestial items and their broken counterparts, non-generated Granite and Marble blocks (I messed up my gen code last night, didn't have time to fix), and made everything dependent on one highly organized mod_x class file! Much easier to add new items now. :smile.gif:
unfortunately it's black-screening w/o error, will be testing a few ideas in a minute..

I have some ideas for you:
Maybe make this a custom map, with the mod instead of a random generating map.
The gods don't attack on sight until you anger them.
When Zeus is around, thunderstorms occur(1.5 added weather! :biggrin.gif:)
When Hades is around skeletons and zombies spawn... IN THE NETHER!
The temples have some form of defence and loot.
*IDEAS FOR LATER UPDATES*
Apollo shoots fire arrows
Artemis shoots fire exploding and normal arrows (shes a huntress) and also is guarded (or temple is guarded) by humans with bows (girls?)

having some bugs with getting errors to actually stay up long enough on the crash screen for me to read it atm.. not even enough time to ctrl+A/ctrl+v it and read it somewhere else. :sad.gif:
Anyways, I have just a bit of stuff- maybe a few hours- to do before I can get back to coding today. Hopefully this will be resolved... once it is I can briefly test generation of blocks and get up an Alpha V 0.0_1. :smile.gif:

Unfortunately it's still not giving me the freaking error message.. so I'm blindly going through and editing anything in my code I think might be giving me an error. I'm gonna go through and restructure a bit too, make it easier to change block ID's so that when we include a properties file it will be easier. :smile.gif:

I don't think that Artemis should shoot
Apollo should change the time to day (sunrise) when he is around
Hades should have lots of gold and diamonds in his temple and maybe have Cerberus with him, but that may be more difficult to do
Ares should have netherrack with him (or in his temple)
Artemis would cause night when she is around (maybe just on normal and hard though)
If it takes too long, you know what minecraftisawesome will do!
