Yes Villages/Villagers have been mentioned before, but I don't think it should be mandatory? Mostly because I don't think we should spend a lot of time on that stuff right now. Hopefully in the future! Ah yes I do imagine their skin tone to be well in themed with their biome, i.e. Poseidon's people would be shaded with a light blue tone.
I love the idea but that kind of carries onto the economy of Ancient Greece and we're focusing on the mythology and religion. Great contribution though! :smile.gif:

you should make a egyptian mod and a norse mod like this and add them to one mod so there is like a mythical war :biggrin.gif:
with greek centaurs against like norse frost giant vs bird guys with 2 swords from the egyptians.
anyway, I LOVE THIS MOD!!!!
dude if he makes the greek mod its quite an accomplishment Calm down.
And, being the hyprocrite i am, It would be cool if you worked with the aether mod people and have gods spawn eather there or in nether. And will gods respawn?
Ah yes, hopefully they'll see the true potential this mod could bring when we get a version up :smile.gif:

Yes no problem! I haven't seen you on skype for a while so that got me worried until I saw this post.
Ah yes im all for showing these eager people what you've been working on :smile.gif:
Yes, a buggy version is still a version it might not be completed but we'll have something to play around with.

Awesome! the armour/skins look a bit Roman-esque, but I like the pack. :smile.gif:
Would it be possible to get a 16x16 pixel version that we could possibly include in the DL, with your permission?
Given up on coding today, got a pretty good lil' cold on top of a good workout, and I kept finding myself staring blankly at the screen doing nothing.. see y'all tomorrow, hopefully with me a lot better.
What happened to the awesome signature that you guys had was is a that blew it up and made it disappear because all i can see is that it has either been moved or deleted

Ah yes sorry, I'm going to try to make one soon. Or if anyone thinks they can do better than me, feel free to post it here and i'll give you full credits.
Edit: Okay after a very long time I made one. Check the first post for it :smile.gif:

This is an idea i had for hermes why not let him have a temple in both the nether and normal but he only uses one at a time and both have portals inside the temple to show how he gets to the nether, also if it's possible make it so that the portal leads to his nether temple. The last bit was it's possible.
How about a new kind of torch for Hades' temple that functions as an anti-torch: Instead of giving out light, it takes away light near it? I think it *might* be possible if I basically copy the torch code and give it negative values.. maybe..
edit: Not really sure if it has a USE, but... :tongue.gif:

would be funny for a multiplayer server, make everyone mad by taking away their light, monsters spawn.... hahahaha :>
Not being able to code makes me get ideas.. (MCP is updating for 1.5, hopefully that will solve my compiling errors.. :tongue.gif: )
How about this: later on once more temples have been added, Hephaestus has random mini-temple spawns at depths of 1-16, or on top of lava pools, and in these mini-temples there is a group of powerful cyclops smiths. Defeating them may yield a special piece of a special block. There are nine of these blocks, making it hard to get all of them.. however upon getting all of them you can assemble them into a Carbon Compression block. This functions similar to a furnace, however you can either put in cobblestone or dirt without a base (smelting spot) item, and get carbon, or put in X carbon into the input (smeltee spot) and a base material into the base item slot (fuel spot on furnace) and the carbon will be compressed into said item- each item having a 'compression' (read: smelt) time of 8 items. This way, after LOTS of time and effort and exploring you no longer need to make massive mines for rarer items like minerals etc! Also, a use for Hephaestus that is truly god-like, AND sticks with Minecraft theme!
I.e. You get the block. You put in 8 cobblestone, receive 8 carbon. You put in 8 carbon and 1 diamond, after a short period you receive 8 diamond *and lose the 1 you put in* (so really it's only 7). OR you could put in Iron instead of diamond, and receive 8 iron, OR... the possibilities are infinite. :biggrin.gif:
Anybody like this?
edit1: this would only work with blocks (or coal/diamond in those cases- so yes, you still have to smelt iron).
It's a good idea, and tbh we might implement it- it's been suggested quite a bit, but if it is implemented, you will not be invisible. However, making monsters not notice you may be possible, I haven't looked at it or anything yet.
The problem with invisiblity off the top of my head is that it would require messing with rendering, which is NOT something I want to get into right now.. lots of potential for bugs.
This is really neat! I have always been intrigued by Greek Mythology, and I would like to play it in Minecraft. I will install it as soon as it is out! Good job :smile.gif:
I like it, but there should be something that you could do once you have all the drops. Like become a god yourself, or get invincible armor. Poseidon should have a beard, and hades should drop his helm of darkness.

After that will be getting Zeus's lightning bolt and the trident working, I've got a few ideas for those.. then Hades Key.

Looks cool! I was thinking of using romecraft for the trailer but this could work too :smile.gif:

(meaning I have stuff coded but not tested or debugged.. will do debug, but not testing. )

Well i thought how about add that when you have it a on and are sneaking monsters won't notice you. Do you like idea :biggrin.gif:?
