The mod works, but whenever I log off and on again all the builder stuff, including buildings, npcs, and the signs, disappear. Is there a way I can fix that?

Have you gotten the most recent update to modloader and spawnlist? I did that, and I may be new to this forum, but I would like to think I have enough experience modding game files. XD

Probably another mod conflict, or, did you forget to delete META-INF? If it is the former, you should re-DL the bin folder through your launcher.
Every day, I go out onto the horizon, looking for new mods. And I find things like this every time I go "hmm, this sounds interesting. Wonder what it is?"
The next thing I know I'm no longer alone in this horrible creeper infested world. And I'm the new inventory of exploding arrows, so I can give those creepers some of their own medicine!
You should REALLY team up with Iacozinni who is making a mod calledMineColony. The link is right here, viewtopic.php?f=25&t=125803. It would be the BEST mod ever. Also, there wouldn't be compatibility issues(if there are any).
To those who think the structures are hideous and awful:
I have added a configuration option to disable structures that you don't want the builders to build.
To those who dislike that the builders spam buildings:
Currently, the only solution for this is to mess around with the configuration options. Perhaps making builders rare and only able to build 1 structure would alleviate this problem to an extent.

Yes, they despawn. Their names also change if you quit the game and come back. If you don't like how much structures they build, you can try tweaking their configuration settings.

As for that, here's an idea of what you can do:
You can use the configuration thing of the builders to stop them from spawning. You can however, use Single Player Commands to spawn one when you want one.
@OP:
Could you also make a configuration thing so that names wont show up? Maybe for each sort of builder.
Oh, and could you remove the sound builders and mayors make when opening a chest? It gets pretty annoying.
Yes, I will add a configuration option for the names. I also understand how annoying the constant clicking can be, and will change that eventually.

Yes. Check the included instructions. Either set their spawn maximum to 0 or set their spawn rate to 0.

EDIT it appears that the new update has problems with Single Player Commands.
I didn't have those at the 1.1 beta version. Also, I managed to get rid of them by burying them underground.

Are you saving the game properly? Even if the builders were to disappear, I wouldn't expect what they build to disappear.

Thanks for the support and suggestions everyone! I haven't made any progress on the mod today, except for making builder names not change when you quit the game and come back. I will work on the mod some more during this week, if I have the time.
How about making a block that makes them "not build" at least 10-15 block radius(or something) so that they won't build on some places, for example: your home/base/other structures you don't want any other building next to. And another block that makes them build a structure where that block is the center. This will help the player to at lest be able to manipulate the building areas. Thanks. I have used this mod before in alpha and was very satisfied. I can't wait to use this and see that trading shop. :happy.gif:

Really really really rediculously good mod by the way, for you to destroy those hideous buildings created by multibuilders. I know I can disable them, but by chance they sometimes make good buildings.

Yes, I'm sure...I had mo' creatures, rana, death chest, sign tags and ur mod all together and it caused that, so I got my backup jar file and tried again all clean. It worked fine....then I just installed your mod with modloader and spawnlist and it caused that again. It's definitly ur mod...but works perfectly fine and it's awesome. You did some nice work here, keep going.
Im pretty sure its nothing with mo creatures because it was the first mod I installed (then Rana) and it worked fine with no conflicts with other mods...I tough it was the sign tags but its your mod. Ill wait for an update, but you have my support on this
I'm really looking forward to guard mobs. Also, I have a few requests
-Make all types of builders etc that follow you stay withing X blocks (10, 15?), but not closer than Z blocks (2, 4?)
Right now they act like noobs and shove you off edges, into lava, away from where you are etc.
-Above request, but with builders mobbing around the mayor.
-Make builders stay near their village/mayor even after it's completed
-Ability to heal builders etc by hitting them with food?
-Fix the game freeze problems D:

It worked fine....then I just installed your mod with modloader and spawnlist and it caused that again. It's definitly ur mod...but works perfectly fine and it's awesome.
