Actually kinda want an opinion on this one.. its also been bothering me for a long time that the Redead is.. well.. just the N64 textures directly. This is more pixely, but I wasn't sure how to handle the arms and legs.
Unlike the Armos this is about done so anyone that wants to test it and tell me can.
I'm not the person who did the armor at all, so I can't really do much about it and never felt much like going through the trouble of doing an entire armor skin that most people will never even see in game. Maybe i'll redo all of the armor next and leave the old versions as an option?
As for the minecart, i'll probably just leave it as it is. The one I made is already in the proper style for the pack, and as cool as the idea of changing it to the spinner is, I can't see it working out well as a retexture for it.
Sounds cool. I'll see if I can come up with something for you, but I dont know if anything will look good enough. Also, when you're done, add in some more spinner tracks to the world.. was kinda disappointed by how outside its dungeon and one or two spots in the overworld it was so greatly ignored.
Since the first of the finalized releases should be soon, and lord knows what might have changed there.. figured i'd put this up as a temporary test. It includes the few changes i've made like the end portal block textures, the potion stand, and the new Redead (not the Armos though.. still working on it), as well as a few other small changes.. the watermelon is all that's left so far as terrain and items are concerned, now.
Also, as a temporary test, I put in simplified armors based on the LttP stuff, which came about from that mention of there being no chain armor textures. I'll probably change it back for the next release and make it some seperate optional thing, but for the moment I just want to see opinions on it.
Next version shouldn't be far off, so long as the next MC release isn't.
Also, if I accidentally left in stuff from other packs i'm sorry.. I use a combination of various stuff for the creatures and try to remember to remove them all each time I do a release so nobody complains.
And finally, since I did end up making them, here are the chain armor textures for the armors as they were previously. I'll add them into the pack on the next release:

Depending on whether or not I feel up to it, I should have a new update out soon that puts all the Aether stuff up to date as well, or at least most of it.
After.. a LOT of thought (several months), I finally decided I should just make a new topic that I can update properly for the pack. I hate leaving this one, but in the end it'll probably be for the best. The whole "Megaupload closing" thing didn't help either, since people seem to not notice the many posts by me for updates.
I'll always have a link back here in the first post of that one though, and the link to get there from here is below. I guess that makes this one finally abandoned after 2 years. Makes me feel kinda sad in a way.
My favs are The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Relax Gaming slot Ancient Tumble and The Aviator slot, that's because I follow DiceGirl Egle, she helps a lot with slot games, I also love to play Pokemon go! I feel like Ash Ketchum with my pokemons haha 😆😉
