You can use them, just put them in the /gui/ folder in your minecraft.jar
When I say that they are not done I mean that not all are replaced, such as the iron hoe and the pig saddle.
How would you go about putting the file into a .jar file? i try to open the minecraft.jar, and i get 'Failed to load Main-Class manifest attribute from C:/users/admin/appdata/roaming/.minecraft/bin/minecraft.jar
Cons:the grass isn't the correct color and the ore is very basic and hard to see even with torches. along with the poor choice i believe in the weapons icons. I think you might of attempted to use to many games instead of just sticking with one.
Improvements: Fix the grass and the ore at very least.
Notes: if you are looking for the right sprites might i suggest
Everything has a beginning and an end. Life is just a cycle of starts and stops. There are ends we don't desire, but they're inevitable, we have to face them. It's what being human is all about.
Someone Please HELP ME!! I have been changing my items and stuff a lot and nothing has gone wrong until now!!! it wont let me replace anything and it says i am still running minecraft, which obviously i am not! HELP!
Only reason I haven't changed the ore in any of my edits is that i'm actually already using different ore, but its edits of ores from other packs. I'll see what I can come up with. Also, I like the grass being darker, but i'll see how it looks lighter.

try ctrl alt del and ending processes like minecraft and java. they might be running in the background
Right.. really had no idea whatsoever what to use for redstone and iron ore, so I just left iron more or less untouched and BS'ed the redstone. There was nothing that was really appropriate for any ore at all in the existing art, so I had to make something up. :\
Also, might as well post these:
My current items sheet with compass and fishing pole.
And this I pretty much did as a test, and I doubt I could really make it any better on my own.
I'm working on an autumn version of this pack, based off my own version using the base of Crysta Elf's version of terrain and icons mixed with JediJennifer's Oracle of Seasons Tiles and Alyxandor's clay (Clay colors on Crysta Elf's clay terrain, as well as his clay inventory icon). I'm not very happy with how it stands currently, as the colors seem a bit off. Any suggestions?
The only thing I can think of is to load up ALttP again and head to the Dark World, as I remember some good autumn colors being in there (correct me if I'm wrong). I will post up what I have once I get permission from the creators of the various tiles I used, whether or not I did modifications to them.
Anywhoo, screenshot of the autumn colors. I plan on doing more tiles using either official artwork or modifying more of JediJennifer's tiles (with her permission of course) to fit into this pack.
EDIT: How some of JediJennifer's tiles look in game with some color modification.
I know, I need to work on the tiling of the furnace a bit, and tweak the workbench a bit. The color errors at the bottom of the workbench are due to the transparency, I'm going to redo that section.

I don't know if you could call those autumn colors, the trees were dark green, the bushes were purple, and the ground was a greyish yellow. There were a small few trees with a pinkish red top.

I believe you're right. I'll toy with some color ideas before I head to my last resort, ripping tiles from Zelda Classic tilesets. We'll see how things go and how much inspiration strikes me over the next couple days as far as changing the terrain up a bit and adjusting the colors for those who like me prefer to mix and match but want something that matches the overall look of this pack. I think my biggest challenge will be finding and/or creating seasonal/biome exclusive tiles. Thankfully I don't need to worry about biomes anytime soon (not till Halloween at least).
What exactly are the Mole-Mitts and everything around it for? Are they just there if you want to make them something else or are they coded as something?

I tried using this in my game to see what it looked like, and Minecraft crashed. Turns out the original file is about twice the size Minecraft is looking for. I resized the image and it worked quite well. For those who wanna try it:

Those are different versions of the Power Glove. In Zelda the glove usually granted Link great strength, allowing him to lift large rocks out of his way. I bet it's intended as an alternate for the pick.

Looks like we can finally use the pumpkin sprite, and we're going to need a different item for the flint tool. I suggest the Fire Rod.
