I am working on a fresh 1.18 survival world and have begun getting ready to make my main base which will be in a hollowed out mountain creating a massive open space roughly 150 blocks from floor to ceiling. This is going to be an overgrown cave with lots of glowberries and dripstone and one of the effects I really want to pull off is artificial "rain", by having water sources above the dripstone on the ceiling. The sound of many water droplets is really soothing and perfect for the vibe I'm going for however Minecraft's natural particles have a range of only 32 blocks from what I've read with the exception of the /particle command being able to force particles making them have a range of well over 200 blocks. I want to keep my world as vanilla as possible though so while I could just hide some command blocks nearby to force particles to spawn I'm really hoping there is a mod already that extends the range of natural particles. Thank you for anyone who can help or give me places to look.
