Here's a suggestion, not sure if it'd be considered medium level.
(Anything here can be changed at your discretion)
Name: Vanilla Furniture Mod
Description:
A simple mod that adds a small variety of building blocks that can be used to make custom furniture in a very vanilla feeling way. It is further intended to be a furniture mod that adheres to Mojang's ambition to stay away from use-specific blocks.
Added Blocks/Items:
Bench
Uses the texture and design of the lower portion of Minecraft beds, but takes up a single block with a leg in each corner, thus being the size of a half-slab. You can add different wood variants at your discretion. Below are bench-based blocks that would also be added. Breaking either should drop two bench items. (More information given later)
Full Bench
Block-sized bench.
Double Bench
Two benches stacked one on the other to fill the full block.
Mat
Resembles the top portion of a Minecraft bed (foot section), though I would suggest tweaking the texture to be more tileable. Like slabs, it should be able to be positioned both at the bottom or top of the space it occupies. Mats should come in the various colors available in-game.
Double Mat
Block-sized mat. Breaking a Double Mat should drop two mat items.
Mat Bench
A mat on top of a bench making up the full block. Breaking a Mat Bench should drop one mat and one bench item.
Usage
Using a mat, bench, or mat bench causes the player to sit if and only if there is sufficient free space above it.
Crouching while seated on a mat, bench, or mat bench that has an adjacent mat, bench, or mat bench of the same height, causes the player to lie down. The player's vision will begin to blur regardless of time. This also opens a GUI with the options:
Set Spawn
Get up
Crouching while lying on a mat, bench, or mat bench causes the player to dismount.
Pressing Strafe Right or Strafe Left while seated or lying on a mat, bench, or mat bench with an adjacent mat, bench, or mat bench to the right or left moves the player to use the respective mat, bench or, mat bench.
Jumping while lying on a mat, bench, or mat bench causes the player to sit.
Jumping while seated on a mat, bench, or mat bench causes the player to dismount.
Pressing Strafe Right or Strafe Left while seated or lying on a mat, bench, or mat bench with a free space to dismount to the right or left respectively causes the player to dismount into that space.
Pressing Walk Forward or Walk Backward while seated or lying on a mat, bench, or mat bench causes the player to dismount.
Both sitting and lying on a mat, bench, or mat bench should regenerate the player's health slowly. Regeneration occurs more quickly when lying.
Players should fall asleep when lying on a mat, bench, or mat bench at night and when there are no hostile mobs nearby. When sleeping, vision should fade from blurred to black which should remain for a short time.
Pressing "Get Up" during this time should cause the time to skip to halfway between the previous time and morning, and hunger to be depleted.
After this brief period, the night should be skipped (set time to morning), health should be completely regenerated, hunger should be depleted by a certain amount and vision should return to being blurry as the player continues to lie down.
Block States
Benches, Full Benches, Double Benches
Benches should have 2 options for facing position (1-bit directionality) that is determined based on which direction the player places the block.
Benches should further have a calculated state that determines which legs to display (4 bits). A leg is hidden if:
Only ONE adjacent block (x-axis / z-axis) to the leg are benches of the same type and height and are facing the same direction,
OR BOTH adjacent blocks AND the block diagonal to the leg are benches of the same type and height and are facing the same direction,
OR there is no solid block underneath.
Full Benches should have an additional calculated value (1 bit) that removes the top if:
The block above is a Bench of any type facing the same direction AND there are NO horizontally adjacent Bench Blocks facing the same direction.
Behavior
Benches should act similar to Scaffolding in the manner they prevent floating. A bench requires a solid block underneath or adjacent to it to be held up.
Using a Bench on top of another Bench (half size) facing the same direction creates a Full Bench.
Using a Bench on top of another Bench (half size) facing the opposite direction creates a Double Bench.
Using a Mat on top of a Bench (half size) creates a Mat Bench.
Using a Bench under a Mat (top) creates a Mat Bench.
Hyperspaces, Spacetime, That one scene from "The Matrix" with the mirror, dimensions, penguins, The Void*, Bottles of Spacetime, Bottles of Matrix Mirror.
(*To get to The Void you need to go through a portal. The Void contains Unknowns that can take you to The Unknown.
The Unknown contains Doors that take you to The Exit (also when you see a door pop up, go through it immediately because
the door might disappear.). The Exit has to Doors one makes you die, the other one, you go to The Matrix.
The Matrix, after you fall to the bottom, will take you back to the overworld.)
Also, Bottles of Shrink Water, and Shrink Bugs**.
(**The Bugs go inside you and make you get blind and shrink until you die.)
Can you make a destroyable obsidian mod for 1.12.2? There are already so many plugins for destroyable obsidian but there are no forge mods. Destroyable Obsidian would go great with a modpack I am trying to create.
I would LOVE to see a mod that takes the already impressive alcohol mechanics of the now-defunct Psychedelicraft, and beefs them up. Multi-block stills that look like huge (3x3x5) copper pots; cross-compatibility with farmer's delight and/or thermal series agriculture so making beer, wine, or whisky out of corn or barley becomes possible; barrel charring and seasoning... I would be overjoyed if something like this existed. And I'm sure it would be fairly popular if done well.
Description: (Bedrock Edition) A mod that consists of 4 clubs, an iron, driver wedge and putter and of course a golf ball. Each club goes a different distance. The way you hit the ball is power based, when you hold jump a bar next to your hot bar would appear. (just like jumping with a horse) The fuller the bar the farther the ball goes. The ball would travel different distances like the club based on where the player is looking.
Distance:
Driver - 125 blocks max
Iron - 80 blocks max
Wedge - 25 blocms max
Putter - 10 blocks on the ground max
The golf ball can simply be ball like entity that is small. This could be as detailed as you want it to be. Thank you so much! My discord is WilltheThrill#8480

I can make one of them with Forge 1.7.10 and 1.8.9, but not Forge 1.12.2.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
My mod with manually registered ItemBlocks of technical blocks:
What exactly is "destroyable obsidian"? You meant bedrock, right? Obsidian can be mined with a diamond (or equivalent) pickaxe, unless you meant being able to use any tool or less hardness / blast resistance (the latter seems right based on this thread, but should have been mentioned here so they knew exactly what you meant).
That said, I don't think the OP is going to respond to any requests, they never even replied to this thread and their only post on the forums is the OP, 2 years ago, and the person who requested "destroyable obsidian" also posted a couple years ago.
Not exactly a new mod idea, but this fabulous mod called Future MC backports some of the newer versions's features to 1.12.2. It's currently a one-man feat, so some help to the progress of the mod would be very welcome (you can talk with the author on his discord server, and here's the github repository of the mod.).
The only prerequisite for contributing is knowledge of Kotlin (the mod is codded using that).
Hello, i need mod ideas for a mod anyone have like medium level mod ideas.

(I'll edit if I missed anything)
Large Mouth Bass.
So I have a idea for a mod...here it is.

That's it, It's big, but doable.
If I can add there is a similar mod and its called: Adorn

This mod request is for Minecraft 1.16.5

TheMasterCaver's First World - possibly the most caved-out world in Minecraft history - includes world download.
TheMasterCaver's World - my own version of Minecraft largely based on my views of how the game should have evolved since 1.6.4.
Why do I still play in 1.6.4?
