I have an idea and I don't know if and how it might be possible. There are two questions that arise:
1) How can I generate elements in a world? I would like to be able to generate a room of a size I define. Inside that room I would like to generate for example redstone setups that follow a given pattern that just differ in size (amount of light / switches). I also need a good way to travel between those rooms with the lowest effort possible.
2) I would like to have an input interface so that my minecraft world changes by getting input from the outside (real world). A light bulb get switched on (home automation) irl and a signal is being sent to the minecraft interface and inside the world a given switch is also turned, according to the one in real life.
Position 1 is not so important. Most important question for me currently is 2).
