I feel like illagers are a bit unseized yet and i wondered how would be a mod that makes them your allies so villagers turn into enemies. Although i could create it i dont have the time at this moment (and some of the ideas are a bit hard to execute)
This are the feartures i can think:
-Black campfire: created mixing a campfire with a coal block,works the same way but creates black smoke (just for fashion) and allows you to activate or desactivate the outcast reputation, wich determinate how villagers/illagers interact with you. Desactivating the reputation has a emerald cost that depends of your reputation level. The level does never go down doesnt matter the time is desactivated.
-Once you activate the outcast reputation, villagers will no longer trade and will flee from the player. Golems and guards (new mob) will be aggresive with the player instead neutral. At the same time, illagers will be pasive with the player, can trade with them and, with enough reputation level, command them to follow you.
-10 reputation levels. At the beggining you can only command one illager and can only be a pillager. With more level you can command more types of illagers, more at the same time and even mount a ravager as it was your horse but battle-designed.
-Killing a villager will drop a blood ruby, wich can be given to any illager to level up your reputation level permanently.
-appart of golems, guards will now protect villagers. They basically villagers with armor who use spears as weapon. They can drop their spears when killed.
-Spears are very slow but attack from more distance than a sword. Probably only competent weapon to use when riding a ravager because of its size.
-now illagers´structures are more illuminated to prevent other monsters spawning there. Monsters still not attack illagers, but obviously they attack the player. Illagers will defend the player if he is a attacked by any monster and reputation is enabled.
Illagers now sell like villagers do, having a very similar system but, because theres more types of villagers than illagers, the last ones have more variety and units in their stores. They trade using emeralds. Blood rubies are only used to level up reputation.
-ravager´s fury: crafted with a spear and a ravager horn (special resource that is sold by pillagers with high reputation), similar to a spear but will make ravagers deal more damage to enemies affected with it. Ideal to use when riding a ravager.
-Vindicator´s insanity: a battle axe wich gives you an effect that makes you deal more damage but also receive more damage while wielding it. Sold by Vindicators when you reach enough reputation.
-Evoker´s word: sold by evokers with enouth reputation. Allows you to summon vexes with right click. Also, left-click in the earth will make fangs to come out and attack enemies quickly.
-strange skull: sold by illusionists (that now spawn naturally in mansions) with maximum reputation level. Allows you to spawn or despawn a ravager like it was on a poke-ball.
-Support arrow: an arrow with the head of an illager, sold by pillagers with high reputation. Can only used with a crossbow. Will make 3 pillagers appear in the zone and support you. They will disapear after 30 seconds.
-When you are in outcast reputation, the golems you create will be grey golems and also have the eyebrows of the illagers. These golems will never hurt you or illagers but will be aggressive towards villagers and normal golems
-Now golems that spawn in villages are a bit different than the ones you build. The ones you create will have a blue light in the heart-side chest. If you activate/desactivate your reputation in the black campfire, you can use an emerald on one of your golems to "update" him to your current side (swap from grey to normal golem, basically)
