ive been getting really into Minecraft lately, especially into Auto- Farms/Redstone in general.
One thing i saw the other day was the Flying TNT Mashine from the Sci Craft Server and i really like the idea. But the way its set up is bothering me. Especially in Singleplayer.
Since large Perimiters are quite handy to have but an absolut hassle to dig out i think that a Mod who implements this/makes it easier would be a nice addition.
I wondered if you could make a Mod that is Endgame Survival friendly for just such a thing.
- A Mashine consisting of 2 elements a "Giver" and a "Receiver". You place the "Giver" and then go in a straight line forward how ever many blocks you want and place the "Receiver".
- The "Giver" is powerd by Redstone blocks that you can place in its own Inventory and acts as the Fuel. It moves forward towards the "Receiver" and destroys the next 5-10 Blocks directly underneath it as it moves.
- Ones it hits the "Receiver" they will move down 5-10 blocks and go around the other way repeating this process. The Depth could be for example be input in the "Receiver".
Now this is just a rough example and obviously strongly inspired by the Flying tnt mashine. One of the Key things about this should still be that its meant for Endgame Survival, so the Costs can be expensive (so that you only can use something powerful as this at the end of the game) but should still be within Singleplayer dimensions AND (most importantly) it shouldnt take too long.
Now i know if i want a 150x150 Perimiter its gonna take some time, my point is it shouldnt take 1 week of playtime since, again its meant for Singleplayer Survival.
It doesnt even have to have animations or something if thats any easier to make (no idea of modding^^)
