I really fell in love with the mod Mob Properties since I first used it. I love how easy it is to work with, how customizable it is, but it's no longer available in a version that I want to use. I'm trying to make a modpack for a few buddies of mine, but Mob properties is not available in 1.12.2. I'm well aware that there are similar mods such as In Control and Mob Properties Randomness! but they lack some of the key features I liked in mob properties, such as generating a config file for each mob. I've tried to port the mod myself, but my java skills are not up to par with the task. I get confused with stackSize errors a lot and simply can do it myself. Can anyone port Mob Properties from its last version to 1.12.2?
First and foremost thank you. I struggled for quite some time to understand how to port it myself, guess my summer project will be learning how to code more. The mod itself edits the properties of mobs, whether that's vanilla or ones added by another mod. I have a question as to how things might have changed. In the 1.10.2 version, you could go to a config file for each mob and edit three categories: drops, pre-stats, and stats. These files exist in the port, but I'm guessing that in 1.12.2 things have changed as far as editing mob behavior. For instance
would cause a cow to drop a dirt block on death. However, this does not work in the port. Could the language have changed on how to add this in the config file?
I understood about what makes the mod. I do not know how to work with him. Well, this is not interesting to me.
Um ... Not sure if the configuration file is to blame, most likely I have added something wrong. So how much has changed. Given that I do not know how to use BON and etc.
I mostly write on the 1.7.10 version.

Ported (1.10.2 to 1.12.2) as smog, errors are possible.I can not check for errors, since I have not played with this mod.
