I really dont like the claim system , for me it destroy the freedom of minecraft.
I would really like to see a system where if an "hostile" player destroy or interact with a claim land the game spawn or call defending mobs to attack the hostile player.
This would need a friend/neutral/enemy list system, with some parameters for the player :
defending mob attack if : enemies on sight, break block, placeblock, use door type block or redstone related items, open containers, take item from containers.
same parameters if the interacting player is neutral.
An option to auto move player from neutral to enemy when a forbiden interaction is perform on the claim.
I think some kind of paying system, per month or week, with items depending on the mob to balance it would be great.
I think it would be a more roleplay system than claim, and it would be great on an anarchy server.
So people would have freedom to grief but it would come with high risk when they attack base of settled player on the server.
I have never done mods for Minecraft what do you think would be the best way to implement this ? spigot plugin, datapack, command block ?
