It essentially allows you to place a block that simulates the effects of being in the void fog with particle and non particle versions.. Naturally the player can breathe while in it and light sources aren't visible from a distance through it, and it is more or less meant to be a way to add a sense of dread to an area.
Unlike normal void fog the void fog block sort of acts like a normal block which prevents the placement of other blocks in it, but isn't solid enough to prevent the placement of torches within it or blocks on it. Additionally lava and water can flow freely through it but do not displace it.
I'm requesting this mod be created cuz i wanna be able to have void fog present in my castle, however if the psuedo block features aren't possible then i'd be fine with void fog just being a placeable block.
I'd like it to be for v 13 if possible.

A fool prepares for nothing, a wiseman prepares for the problems ahead, and an insecure person prepares for everything that has already gone wrong.
Void fog pool / ravines are generated underground, or in the End?
Void fog is collectable and placeable with a bucket.
The fog will spread in the dark, replacing air. Similar to grass / mycelium growing.
Conversely, it will get burned away by high light levels.
I'm toying with the idea of having a liquid source block as a tar-like liquid, that the fog generates from. The fog itself could be burned away by light but the source block would never burn away. Doing it this way might be able to make the void "fog" act like air, having the permeable qualities you're looking for.
What do you think? Does this line up with your ideas?
