I am currently using a mix of Crafttweaker and Mcreator to make my items into the game. I have about 50 textures so far, making meals from vanilla food items into more complex items, that work well with the Nutrition mod. I am making textures, there not the greatest but I like them.
My Goals/Rules
Adding no new plants or mob drops.
Make items with 3+ Nutrition values that makes since.
A bit of real crafting, you can not just put a whole potato and cooked beef into a bowl and it makes stew you have to chop the potato and meat and make a gravy first. But the gravy is pretty simple just blend some raw beef and that makes raw gravy you then put it into something, I made a paper bowl, I know that is not so real, but you cook it into gravy, add chopped beef and veggies, and a juice and you have a meal.
I included a few of my meals, I also make all the sub items as well. Most of the meals use my own Juices, but I think it is possible to use crayfish blender juices, I can update the textures to use a clear glass if we want to do that. The juice from crayfish just does not give Nutrition values but the items crafted with them would.
oof MCreator is not a good way to get into modding Minecraft. Instead, learn how to program in Java and look at tutorials, as well as the code of other mods to help you figure things out.
I have made many attempts to code in minecraft, I never got very far. Not sure why I can manage php, html and a few others but Java always throws me. That is why I am looking for some one to do the coding that already has experience.
