OK, so I have this idea for a mod called the inside me mod. There are 3 craftable items you need for it to start.
The shrink-beam: Crafted using a nether star, a lamp, stained glass, and an enchanted diamond (simply enchant a diamond to receive this)
Receiving pad: Crafted using iron ingots in an x shape
Transposal pad: Crafted using gold ingots in an x shape.
Place the receiving pad in line with the receiving pad, which is in line with the shrink-beam. The beam needs to be powered using Redstone flux from another mod, alternatively one can use gold as fuel.
The beam when fired will teleport whomever is standing on the transposal pad, into the body of whoever is standing on the receiving pad.
One is then transported into the body dimension. This is one dimension but each time the shrink beam is used on a new entity, it gains a new structure. Each structure is unique to the entity you're inside. Does not work on bosses or mobs that are incompatible.
The structure is typically composed of a network of blood rivers, and major organs one can manipulate. The brain for instance (found in some mobs) can be hijacked by finding the cerebral cortex and left clicking. This will give you complete control over the entity in the real world.
Brain: found in zombies, spiders, people, pigmen, pigs, sheep, cows, chickens, squids, bats, horses, and anything else that's not a skeliton golem slime blaze or creeper. This major organ can be used to completely control an entity's mind. Move them, make them attack, whatever by controlling the cerebral cortex. Alternatively if one destroys the brain the entity takes damage. If parts of your brain are damaged you will lose access to certain crafting recipes. Upon death, parts of your brain that were not stolen will respawn. Adding brain blocks to your own brain will allow you to unlock recipes like saddles, elytras and music disks. Also playing a jukebox in here can give certain buffs to the player.
DNA block: This is a block that's located in the brain's center. It can take different dna upgrades (crafted with dna and mutation dna) to give random mutations to the player like fast-swim, invisibility, flight, gill-compatability, and more.
Lungs: Fairly simple. This is what allows you to breathe and its only useful once you have a gill compatibility upgrade. Note: when drowning or swimming with gill upgrade, this area fills with water.
Skin: Found in all mobs, although it's properties varry. Slimes for instance have slime blocks for skin. Iron golems have iron. You have flesh blocks. However, you can change this. The more iron or obsidian blocks you attach to the skin in your own body, the better defence you have. The more slime you have, the less fall damage you endure and the more knock back you deal. This applies to several blocks like gill-blocks (respiration), magma blocks (fire resistance), feather blocks (slowfall), web blocks (wall-climbing)fat blocks (better saturation) and muscle blocks (strength).
If you break through skin- blocks and pass through, you will exit the body and fall into the void. Doing so will return you to normal size in the over world.
Stomach: A toxic place. Some animals have more then one. Placing food into these acid-pits will improve the animal's health. Alternatively, any food you eat will be dropped into here from an essophogus block in the ceiling. (There is no mouth section you can access. Creepers, ghasts, and blazes do not have stomachs, but tnt-zones in creepers, and fire pits in the other two. When the mob is about to explode or attack, the TNT in here sparks and the flames rise up respectively. This TNT doesn't explode unless the creeper does.
Spine: Pretty much the stairwell of the body. Break it and the subject will receive a paralysis effect.
Nerves: Nerves act as a link to all parts of the body. This is how the game knows what's being effected by the player inside. Nerves can not be broken, but when hit, the player takes damage. One can pump Redstone flux into the nerve system to give one a static effect: dealing bonus electric damage to anyone hit by the player. (Maxes at 2 hearts extra damage)
Heart: Every animal has a heart, which is unbreakable. However, zombies have weak hearts which can be harvested. Placing heart blocks around your own heart increases your max health.
Eyes: Just bellow the head is the eye. One can't change these but one can put ender blood into the optical nerve once one has the blink dna upgrade.
Other areas: The rest of the bodys are muscle and fat deposites. There are also blood rivers and nerve clusters. Blood rivers act as spawners for white blood cells and red blood cells.
Red blood cells are passive and attack nothing, but can be killed for iron and blood. White blood cells are passive, but attack invaders on site. It doesn't consider a player an invader until it attacks them, injours the host, or attacks a red blood cell. They hit hard.
Germs: Open wounds on the body act as spawners for bacteria, viruses, and infections. Infections attack bodily functions and can ruin your better brain, skin, stomach, ect. that you've built. Viruses are ignored by white blood cells and kill both red and white blood cells. Killing these will drop mutation dna.
Bacteria are ignored by the body and won't bother you, in fact some places have bacteria in them already. You can kill these for dna.
