I want a mod that adds a goal to the game if you will, a need to improve your technology/magic. I would like a mod that analyzes all loaded mobs based on their attack damage and health, as well as add certain mobs that will try to break into a base, but only after the pathfinding ai has analyzed all the blocks to find any openings or to find which blocks were the easiest to break and get into where a player was living, forcing the player to make better defences and gear up. Mobs would have to obey light levels, so if someone didn't want to participate in the mod they could just light up the render distance around their base, or drink a certain potion as for mobs not to be attracted to them that would be generally easy to create.
Also, the mobs would find anything that stored items and steal them, putting them in a guarded base/dungeon of their own nearby in which you can retrieve them, you can also reset the difficulty of the mod by going and taking out a core block or boss in this dungeon which will be difficult even at low levels and get progressively harder as time goes on. Of course this would also be filled with hella loot.
This mod should also track how much a player is in an area to determine whether it is the place they live or if they are just mining somewhere so that they do not get randomly swarmed by a massive wave of mobs, have a config option to disable this tracking of course if you want to be completely insane.
Other config options for this mod would include an interval be it fixed or varying and a max mob strength option.
I realize how difficult this would be to create, but I believe it would add a fun (not so)little challenge to the game.
If anyone is interested in making this and does actually create it can I just get a shout out for the idea on the mod page? lol.
