I finished developing thr basic bulk of the plot for the first arc of the main story for the mod. It's pretty basic, but I'd really like it if you guys critiqued it!
New Altdorf Arc
-With the Empire but a shadow of its former glory, many of its Counts and nobles scattered to form try and form their own self-governing city-states. While most of these city-states end up failing, due to corruption or attacks from bandits and Night Goblins, but some have developed small, but capable armies and defenses, as well as steady governments ruled by people who hope to rebuild the Empire from the ground up.
Governed by a collection of dedicated nobles and protected by the third generation of the Sisters of Sigmar, lead by the iron-willed Sister Gabriel, New Altdorf has currently become the strongest of the city-states. And with the Grand Church of Sigmar rebuilt, the people of New Altdorf have been ignited with hope, and are determined to partake in their parts in rebuilding the Empire as well. However, even with the defenses of the city-state, bandit attacks have begun to grow more frequent, and concerns have risen of neighboring city-states declaring war on one another, seeking to obtain the title of Emperor through military might.
To face against the growing threats around them, the Sisters of Sigmar called for the best mercenaries in the area, tasking them with being the temporary defenders of New Altdorf until a strong-enough army is built. The youngest among these mercenaries is Marco; a boy with black hair and Amber eyes, who's past and identity unknown to the people of the broken Empire.
Born into a life of tragedy, loss and violence, Marco is a hot-headed, battle-hardened mercenary who's lived his entire life fighting and surviving. But, after he was ambushed by Night Goblins during his travels to New Altdorf, he was found and brought into care by an young woman named Isabelle, who would cause Marco's scarred morals to begin dissipating. But as Marco begins to develop a sense compassion and protection for those he comes to care for, neighboring city-states edge closer to the brink of civil war, and the hordes of Night Goblins and bandits continue to grow. Holding onto those he cares about, Marco will need all of his strength in order to stop these forces from overpowering him, his friends, and his new home.
Yeah, the house sucks XD. I was trying to go for a European/Medieval kind of look to it. There are probably people out there could could build such a thing thousands of times better than me XD

So I have some things to ask you guys about. Lately, I've been very much detracted by school/life and I haven't really been able to work on the lore of the mod as much as I wanted, but I did have some ideas/ thoughts that I felt I wanted to share, and see what ya'll think of them.
1. Since many of the factions will require altered/unique biomes/landscapes to live in, what if the player could have access to the mod through a unique world setting? Like, since there are world settings like Default and Super-flat that alter the world, what if this mod had one called "World of Warhammer" or something along the lines? Not only that, but what if the player could also be able to config the mod so that they could make certain factions/races spawn within the Default world as well?
2. How would you guys feel if this mod was just one big mod, instead of a bunch of smaller mods that contain a faction each? I'm saying this because, if this mod actually gets developed and released, then we'll have to keep all of the other mods up to date with each other, as well as fix bugs and add additional for all of them as well.
Hey, I know it's not fantasy but I have a 40k HQM pack that actually has a story to it, plus some exclusive stuff like a 40k armor mod. It has a lot of RPG elements like a Fallout style character system, where you put points in SPECIAL stats, pick skills and get levels. Here's the forum page for it, and here's the imgur album.
Perhaps you could help us out with the mod, if you want. We could really use your skills!
I'd suggest starting with a modpack. There's already tons of stuff that could fit well with a warhammer fantasy pack, and with HQM you could make it uniquely warhammer without necessarily having to mod. But yeah, I'd be glad to help out. If anyone gets the chance to play that 40k pack let me know what you think of it, cause I'm still working on it and could use some good feedback.
Well, if we made a modpack themed off of Warhammer Fantasy, we'll be needing mods that bring in lots of fantasy creatures, dungeons, items, and races, as well as RPG elements.
Hello everyone! Although I've been able to work on some more lore for the mod (mainly pertaining to the Empire) I've been thinking about recruiting other people to help me with the lore, since right now, most of the assigned roles for the mod are one-man jobs.

In other news, I took some design concepts for what an Empire house could look like (Warning: my building skills are very much sub-par XD)

Say, that looks like a pretty good start! I tried to use sandstone to act as clay, since the Empire houses I found had spesific colors to them XD
However, I definiftly wouldn't mind using different blocks to make the houses with

Oh wow! I've always liked to look of the weapons in WH 40K; they look so heavy and bulky XD
But yeah, I believe we have a seasoned modder with us named Nextinima, but we haven't started any programming/modding yet XD
