Hi all. I've been working on a Minecraft map that is supposed to recreate all of the rooms in the Nintendo DS game, Zero Escape: 999. However, while I was building it, I thought about a few ideas for a mod that would make the map more complete.
If you're unfamiliar with Zero Escape, essentially nine people are stuck on a sinking ship and must escape before they die. Each person is assigned a number(1-9). This works by giving each player a red bracelet which displays said number. You cannot remove it until you escape or die. Throughout the ship, there are these things called "numbered doors." As the name implies, it's a door with a number on it. To get through the door, the people have to form the correct digital root(A digital root is a number you get by adding up all the numbers. For example, the digital root of 168 is 6. 1 + 3 + 5 = 9. If you end up with a double digit number, add the numbers in the tens place to the numbers in the ones place. Example, the digital root of 1578 is 3. 1 + 5 + 7 + 8 = 21 2 + 1 =3. So a numbered door with a 1 can be opened with the people that have the bracelets 1, 2, 3, and 4 because 1234 forms the digital root of 1.). At each numbered door, there is a Recognition(or RED for short) device that will scan your bracelet. If it forms the correct digital root, the door will open. However, when you go through the door, a timer activates on your bracelet. In 81 seconds, the bracelet will send a signal to a bomb in your body telling it to explode. There is a way to stop the timer. Beyond each numbered door, there is a Deactivation(or DEAD for short) device that will stop the timer if the correct numbers are verified.
... Wow, I got really off track. There was a lot to explain, so. Please don't be mad at me. Anyway, as you might assume, the mod will port all of that(numbered doors, bracelets, etc.) to Minecraft. There's not really that much to say about it. Except that the mod will have some protection check to prevent the player from dropping their bracelet. If anyone could help me with this, that'd be really awesome. If this mod was made, then maybe others could create custom Zero Escape maps, idk.
Now, I'm gonna take a break... Writing this post gave me a mild headache.
What does look like?My second model. Translated from another language with the help of a translator. There is essentially nothing to translate here. It's just an excuse for all my grammatical mistakes.
