So, my idea is a mod that would make dungeons more interesting and deadly... Or for survival, your base, better defended ^^p
It would have stuff such as spikes* (redstone controlled), lasers (think of this as a loong spike), arrows that can't be picked up (for dispensers, if you want to make this a separable block then it's ok for me), saws (animated block that that move around?... or a entity) that kinda stuff.
* About the spikes: There's a mod that already does that, but it has a major flaw: You can walk thru them. Yes, they hurt but deal a bit more than a third of your life, so you can actually walk through them. So either make them insta kill or make the player slow down inside them.
These are just a few suggestions. Feel free to suggest more stuff!
It would be a good idea, but you would need to make this idea work in synergy with Hidden Rooms mod and TF2 turrets (as well as other tech mods that adds lasers, turrets and so on).
Greetings, I am a mod developer, albeit a simple one, but looking at your request, which seems pretty straight forward, I would be willing to make this mod for you. Although I do have a question for you, do you want these spikes to appear in dungeons or cave systems? Also, I could make poisonous gas, randomly spawn in cave systems and the like.

To do so I will have to call my world gen last, after those other mods so that it overlaps with thier mods as well.
Something that would be fun, chests that poison you when you open them, chests with keys, prison doors and so on. Everything to make a dungeon feel like a real dungeon. Shackles, chain and ball, etc.
Also, tiles that makes you doa full 180 turn or tiles that makes you turn towards your left or your right, invisible teleporters that can receive from different source, but only send to one. No need for tech here, just an ounce of magic would do the trick.

Back from the sleep, I remember industrialcraft having lasers too, with deflectors and stuff. But I don't want to install ANOTHER industry mod xD
